Will be interested to see if the channel stays true to form and shows the movie uncut. If that is the case, surely it sets a precedent that the Babechannels will be able to cite if they decide to up the anti and broadcast more explicit material than the guff they give us now. I imagine Ofcom will be hard pressed to hammer Red Light, Babestation, Elite etc, if we've seen Antichrist in it's original format, on a free to air, unencrypted channel which also broadcasts on the Freeview platform.
Oh, wait a minute, almost forgot. Antichrist was an arty type of film that was watched by sophisticated film buffs who can appreciate it. Unlike the babe shows which plebs like us enjoy!
Good on Film 4 for having the bottle to show this film. Shame on the Babe Channels for cowering down to Ofcom without so much as a whimper of protest whenever the censor comes calling with even more outrageous restrictions on there output. After Thursday, just tell the Southwark Bridge Mafia to Fuck Off and leave well alone.

the film naked was on last night, the uncut version featured full penetrive sex, dunno if last nights was edited

C4 have shown 'The Idiots' uncensored in the past, which includes a gangbang scene where you see brief penetration shots. Ofcom even investigated after there were complaints and decided they were not in breech.

In its ruling, Ofcom found the film "not in breach" of the relevant Code under the specific circumstances of the broadcast, that is "the serious contextualisation of the film within a season examining the censorship of film and television, its artistic purpose, the channel which transmitted it, the strong warnings before the film and prior to the scene in question and the scheduling after midnight."[ Ofcom added the caveat that, "While we do not consider the film was in breach of the Code on this occasion, we must consider carefully the acceptability of any similar content on an individual basis."

Are you sure about that? This is the Mike Leigh film we're talking about. I've seen it at least three times and have never seen anything approaching penetrative sex??

Incidentally, I did provide a link several days ago to the schedule for the Film4 Extreme Season, from which a couple of the films have been mentioned in the last few posts.

Very interesting. So in the mind of Ofcom, full frontal nudity on adult channels is harmful, yet a graphic gang bang scene in a movie is not bladewave

Is there anywhere else this thread can go now?

We've long since established that Ofcom clearly want the Babeshows gone and that they will continue to unfairly target them, but how many ways can we say that? And what are we achieving, exactly?

I think Ofcom wants them contained, not gone. As you've said yourself, and as I've echoed ad nauseum, there are plenty of viewers who don't require a flash of fanny or a line of dirty talk in order to find the babes as currently shown a turn on. They're tuning in as enthusiastically as ever. This is the wrong thread to do it in, but sometimes I want to turn your criticism on its head and ask: what is it about hour after hour of smooth, tanned bare legs, arms, shoulders, backs and stomachs that you seem unable to be aroused by in any way? 'Cos you and Scottishbloke sometimes go on as if what we're being served up is as dull as a test card or The Potter's Wheel. We get to see A LOT of body, unexpurgated and uninterrupted (apart from those still too big OSGs, and photo set ads, in the case of Babestation). There's a lot to engage with, if you're prepared to move beyond snatch, tits and swearing.
