Absolutely gutted!! Sad Sad We needed him for the weekend against the Shrews. He will be a massive loss to us. It isn't often that the loan market benefits all parties but I can tell you that Hull will be delighted with the progress made, it's been a pleasure to watch him.

Sonny has been an absolute rock alongside Darren Jones since he arrived. I had my doubts after his debut but the lad just got better and better and better. I really hope he goes a proves himself at Hull. He has said he loves Hull and wants to make an impact for his boyhood club. I reckon he will go far and believe me he is more then welcome back at the 'Shots any day!!! He is to good for League 2. He had that Ginger cunt Matt Harrold in his pocket Tuesday night, and Harrold is one of those bastard strikers. A real strikers striker. He made him look shit at best!

Now I'm hoping Hull get promoted and fancy loaning him out for a season to us to let him develop Big Grin Big Grin

Good luck lad, keep playing that way you'll be an England international and Hull legend in no time!

I didn't know there was an Oxford fan lurking on the forum! Wink

By the way, how did Josh Payne not get into your team? He is absolute class.

Just one of those things, he was inconsistant with us, and i hear he's been superb since he joined you.

He looked a bit out of his depth in the initial loan in the 5-10 minutes he got. Then the loan got extended and we lost misery gutts Josh started his first game against AFC wimbledon . he bossed the midfield and looked class. he's been consistent since and looks a cracking player.

do you get to oxford much ? I've been a few times. we always get a nice reception ;-)

I've been watching Oxford for over 20 years, and i am a season ticket holder. Funnily enough i will be renewing my seat for next season on Monday. I go to a fair few away games, but i haven't been to as many as i would have liked this season due to financial constraints.

Nice one mate, a very loyal supporter!

Well we might not be seeing you next season at the rate you lot are going. You seem likely to go up IMO. Cheltenham won't maintain a play off place at this rate, although that depends on Crewe. Southend have had the wheels come off since we played them Big Grin but they'll probably do enough to stay in the play offs now.

Is it true Swinedon fans painted your bull pink earlier this season ?

We're setting our sights for an automatic place, improbable as it is. Gives us something to aim for, trying to consolidate a play-off spot could be our undoing with the form team (Crewe) breathing down our necks. One thing's certain, for us it's going to be a very exciting run-in, hopefully starting at home tomorrow with Morecambe.

As for the Ox statue, yep, it got daubed pink, but the club took advantage, for they used the very next home game to promote and make a collection for a local cancer charity Smile

Brilliant! I heard about it going pink, but bad news travels better then good news in this cynacle world. I'm pleased to hear it was used for a good cause none the less.

I will miss going to the Kassam next season if you do go up. It is hostile and sometimes hairy for us Aldershot fans but it is fun none the less.Automatic promotion isn't impossible and Oxford are on a run. I think you'll get the play off spot minimum. Cheltenham will slip out if anyone. They're currently trailing Sarfend 3-0 with ten men at the moment.
