True 90mins is a long time but keeping a clean sheet at home helps. As if we get one away goal it counts as two meaning barca will have to score three just to take it too extra time. And chelsea do have goals in them so think we are the more likely to go through.

You don't understand the rules.

If Chelsea score an away goal in the second leg there can't be any extra time. The only score in the 90 minutes of the second leg which would lead to extra time being played is 1-0 to Barcelona.

Is it true that if Chelsea win the Champions League and Newcastle finish fourth, Chelsea get Champions League football next season and we have to settle for the Europa League. I wouldn't be too disappointed to be in the Europa League, but I thought they got rid of that rule that if you win the Champions League, you don't get in the Champions League automatically next season after what happened when Liverpool won the Champions League and Everton finished fourth

The top 4 finishers in the Premier League automatically qualify for Champions League unless an English team wins the Champions League but doesn't finish in the top 4. In that case the Champions League winner automatically qualifies for the Champions League the following season and the 4th placed club in the Premier League goes into the Europa League. (This rule was introduced after season 2005/06 when Liverpool won the Champions League but finished 5th in the Premier League. On that occasion UEFA allowed 5 clubs from England into the Champions League - as England had nominated their top 4 league finishers for their 4 places - but at the same time introduced the new rule which made it clear that in the future there could never again be more than 4 clubs from any one country, i.e. a Champions League winner must now be automatically nominated for entry into the Champions League the next season but with the Champions League limit of 4 clubs maximum from any one country still applying).

So am I. I read all the links to try and grasp how one was convicted whilst the other wasn't. I can only assume they think the woman consented with one, but not the other. If that was the case, what was the other doing ? I guess these reports don't tell the full story. However it is in there that Ched Evans had a girlfriend at the time.

it seems that mr mcdonald and the woman were concensual.

that ched evens career finished that should be a black list of footballers that should not be allowed play at any level with criminal convictions.
