Asked it before but once again not expecting a response from 'Red Light Central'. Sure they'll 'sort' out it with a refund or whatever afterwards, as they know only a tiny minority will or can complain. Maybe if this was costing them missing call revenue rather than still earning they'd finally nip the problem in the bud. Only channel this is still happening & undermines them for me.

RE: Red Light Central - Calling, Telephone & Texting Issues
Dannii Harwood said on the mic last night that she was sorry that people couldn't get through to her , she said it was a RLC phone line problem , although she said she wasn't quite sure what the problem was or words to that effect , so obviously the Playboy/RLC staff were well aware last night that people were wasting their money trying to call her because of the faulty phone system . So presumably last nights staff should be able to verify what people are saying about the problems they encountered last night when trying to call Dannii .I personally haven't called Playboy/RLC because of all the bad publicity surrounding the phone lines , i probably would have called before now if i was guarenteed that the phones would work , i ain't about to spend my money and not get through because of a dodgy phone system .
Life is short . Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile .

I know exactly what I'm saying, and if it drew you out to respond, albeit avoiding answering my original question, had the desired effect.

Quite a few occasions

No, because by the time you finally acknowledged & provided info about reporting the problems, I'd given up calling RLC

And I've said many times it better to fix the problem to avoid 'issues' having to be resolved in the first place. Callers don't want refunds after the event, they want to talk to babes like Dannii while the iron is hot. Never had this problem on other channels, and I don't see calling issue threads for them either so I assume others think the same.
There's a lot of things I like and defend about Red Light Central, especially the excellent, hard working babes. But this on-going issue has been going on for too long.

Worrying Red Light Practices.
The last two times I've called Red Light I've noticed a really rather distasteful practice that they are adopting. After waiting through another caller, I've been patched through to the girl on screen (Dannii Harwood both times), only to be put on hold via the handset. I'm assuming this is what happens, as there is an extended period of silence, while Dannii wobbles the handset on screen and tries to coax a caller.
On the first occasional, I hung up after about 90 seconds of silence, assuming a technical fault. I got in touch with their complaints/help desk twice, and was given no answer whatsoever - totally ignored. On the second, I noticed the same happen to the caller beforehand. When my turn came, there was the usual recorded "we're putting you through" message, then a beep (I'm assuming that this is the studio handset being manually silenced). On screen, no caller play acting went on for at least 2 minutes, then Dannii took me off hold and started the call. I was that annoyed once it was confirmed that there was no technical problem, I hung up.
I'm happy for a company to make a profit, but this seems incredibly dishonest. It is entirely designed to eek more time out of the caller, and to build up the queue of waiting callers, who are given the impression that the line is free, when in fact someone is waiting on hold. The person waiting on hold is given no information on what's going on, with a very confusion picture painted by the automated messages colliding with complete silence.
I've never experienced this with any other channel, and will avoid Red Light in the future. I recommend others make their own decision, and would like to know if anyone else has experienced similar issues.
