RE: eUrotic Dayshow On Sky - Chat & Discussion

it might be possible that our UK viewers will be able to enjoy a bit of the night show very very soon. In the meantime, do not waste any time, just go to our website, http://www.etvshow.com where you can get credits and call/text the models, download photos or just watch the special multi-cam service. All our nightshows are streamed there
Just thought i'd quote part of a post made by ETV in another ETV thread , anyway the "bit of the night show" bit sounds interesting , my guess is they could possibly transmit on Sky for a extra hour until Channel 915 goes to a encrypted Playboy subscription show or be part of the Playboy subscription package for a hour or so in the same way that Lena live is ..

Well Stan if that is the case then it would pretty much piss off the rest of Europe, but again I'm a optimist aswell as a realist, let's say Playboy are trying to sell their package it would make commercial sense to offer more such as a full night's viewing of the ETV nightshow, that way the current content viewed throughout the rest of Europe would remain uneffected and Ofcom rules wouldn't have to come into play to satisfy a British audience. Lena Live which has allready been pointed out is a prime example of how such a goal could be achieved, my guessing is that channel 951 or 921 could be used as they are both free at the moment showing nothing but adverts so no point having these channels if they can't be put to better use now is it. Or maybe they testing the water and will keep the nightshow FTA with full frontal to see if Ofcom kick up any fuss about it, remember that this channel has an oversea's licence so Ofcom could very well be powerless into dictating to them the content that is broadcast, lets not kid ourselves the only reason BS isn't showing stronger material is because they are content in selling their Xtreme show, worth remembering that Ofcom recently failed in their attempt to have the show toned down due to the fact they have a Dutch Licence, the same too is applicable when it comes to ETV.

Not this old chestnut again
If the only reason for Babestation not showing stronger material was because of their Xtreme show, we wouldn't see the panic we do when the odd pussy slip occurs. The Babestation cameramen panic just as much as the cameramen on the other channels do, and that wouldn't be the case if they were free from Ofcom's wrath.
This 'foreign' license theory is nonsense. If they broadcast on the Sky EPG, then they have to adhere to Ofcom just like the others do.

Well if this is the case, things could be looking up, now I'm not going to get to carried away here. However mate you've raised a very good point concerning the foreign license issue!! As you've stated Ofcom was defeated when it tried to tone down BS, so if we keep things true to form ETV would be able to put out stronger content and ofcom would just have to suffer it
If this comes about there might even be greater urgency from the other UK established Babe channels i.e Redlight elite bluebird storm to really try and apply for a foreign license to mmmh things could start to become very interesting indeed, let's watch this space

No, my 'old chestnut' remark was in reference to the foreign license theory. If including ETV as part of an existing sub package is viable for them, then I hope for the sake of those without access to Hotbird such as yourself, they make it happen.

Just thought i would point out that according to Ofcom themselves channels that transmit on whatever platform Sky , freeview , freesat etc in the UK using a foreign licence are out of their jurisdiction/remit and are not regulated by them , hence why they are whining and bleating to the Dutch regulator about the naughty BS shows not adhering to their more restricted rules , BS is still not adhering to the Ofcom rules by the way . I have posted many time the BS channels with the Dutch licence mostly simulcast with channels using a Ofcom licence on other viewing platforms so have to adhere to Ofcom rules while doing so , If Ofcom themselves say they do not regulate channels with a overseas licence and say they are out of their jurisdiction and even admit to being powerless to prevent BS breaking Ofcom rules by starting before 12am on freeview then then that must be the case . At present as the law stands Ofcom say themselves they cannot ban or block them , all Ofcom can do is mumble and grumble and try and put pressure on company's like BS with the Dutch licence by complaining to the Dutch regulator about the channels breaking Ofcom rules and make threats about taking it to the European commission , so far it ain't worked .
Life is short . Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile .
