Fears & Phobias - Chat & Discussion

I have a genuine fear of clowns (Coulrophopia).

I once made the mistake of revealing that fact in the chatbox (some time ago) only to be bombarded
with clown pictures every time i went in there

I didn't know there so many fears and phobias until I went on phobialist.com, I will name a few of them from the list:
Caligynephobia- Fear of beautiful women.
Chaetophobia- Fear of hair.
Cenophobia or Centophobia- Fear of new things or ideas
Cathisophobia- Fear of sitting.
Bolshephobia- Fear of Bolsheviks.
Bibliophobia- Fear of books.
Anglophobia- Fear of England or English culture, etc
Allodoxaphobia- Fear of opinions.
Eleutherophobia- Fear of freedom.
Epistemophobia- Fear of knowledge.
Euphobia- Fear of hearing good news.
Ergophobia- Fear of work.
Francophobia- Fear of France or French culture. (Gallophobia, Galiophobia)
Hedonophobia- Fear of feeling pleasure.
Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia- Fear of long words.
Logizomechanophobia- Fear of computers.
Megalophobia- Fear of large things.
Novercaphobia- Fear of your step-mother.
Oneirogmophobia- Fear of wet dreams.
Panophobia or Pantophobia- Fear of everything.
Phronemophobia- Fear of thinking.

Hippopototomonstrosesquipedaliophobia - Fear of long words.Has been one of my favourites for some time.What a genius idea to give it such a long name,cruel.

think i have ergophobia lol.

but i do suffer from agoraphobia - spent 90% of the last few years in my house.

Seems that your not alone.Fear of Worms is know as - Helminthophobia.

Ballistophobia - fear of bullets ? Surely a bullet alone would not be that frightening.But when loaded in a gun,pointing at you in the hands of a cold blooded killer ? Yes,that's enough to scare the crap out of you !
