RE: Liverpool FC
groundnpound come on mate I know your not that silly! Adam Johnson is probably the best young'ish players in the country along with Jack Wilshere, he can play left or right in both 4-4-2 & 4-3-3.
I wouldn't compare him with Ryan Giggs but would say he's the closest any player has got in the last 10 years. I don't buy into all that which one of their players would get in to our team shit, every player gives a different balance to different teams.
James Milner & Adam Johnson are way too good to just sit on Man City's bench & if they didn't pay £24m for Milner he'd be wanted by most of the top 8 teams in the league, thats why he's in the Englnd squad.
Joe Cole can still do a job in the 4-3-3 formation if you give him the freedom to play his game, Ligue 1 isn't that bad if Javier Pastore plays there, to have a season down there & reinvigorate himself would've done wonders for him, I'm a bit surprised Roy hasn't put him on stand by for the Euros. Some say Alberto Aquilani should be brought back but he's a player who I think isn't good enough for the Premier League, yes he's technically sound but he looks too lethargic in his play to make in the Premier League.
I can't believe your judging Jay Spearing on a cup final where the whole team was absolutely shocking, he's in the same position as Lucas was 18 months ago, a young defensive midfielder trying to improve & step up to the plate in a poor performing team in the worlds hardest league, by 25 he'll be a better if not top player, look how long it took Scott Parker.
We can't be letting him go for £500,000 & then him going on to strike gold with an £8m move to Fulham, I can see Tom Ince playing well in the Prem If Blackpool get back in it & then someone paying £3m for him, we sold him for about £60,000.
Yeah I get what your saying LODOS but we did buy him, whether it was Kenny or Comolli's idea we still bought him & Damian Comolli is suposed to be a stats man???
I'm not sure about André Villas-Boas, not becasue what he did at Chelsea I doubt anyone who hasn't already been at that club will be given a chance by their players which is silly as it's the manager who picks the team & not the players, if he wants to change the style it's his choice not the players, they just have to stick to it.
Paul Lambet's done well but thats at Norwich & only one season in the toip flight where as Roberto Martinez has survived in the Premier League for a few season & the way he did it the last two have been top class, in both seasons Wigan have played the right style of football & have beat some top teams including Arsenal at their own game. He's also made some shrude signings for very little money.
Fabio Capello will never manage Liverpool He's too old, we don't need a manager who's won titles no team needs a manager who's won anything look at Barca & Pep Guardiola & now Tito Vilanova, besides Kenny Dalglish has won 4!!!
Come on chaps throw your money in the hat & give us your match day squad's for next season, who's in & who's out???
