RE: eUrotic Dayshow On Sky - Chat & Discussion
Fair point Mr Mystery however the only way I would then see Eurotic being able to broadcast the nightshow FTA would be to either purchase another channel on the SKY EPG or buy and again I'll use this as an example channel 951, now currently that one is owned by Playboy with it's current name Babe Guide which to my knowledge currently has an Ofcom licence, so eurotic would have to buy this channel off and rename it Eurotic TV or they could lease it from Playboy but only air the nightshow as a bonus channel as part of the Playboy TV subscription, the system is a complicated one but one which does have many loopholes.
I'd imagine at the moment ETV is exploring all possible avenues because like I said the very moment ETV decided they wanted to broadcast the dayshow on SKY I'm sure at the back of their mind is to ultimately being able to give us this channel 24/7. ETV is a big company and with the dayshow so far proving to be popular with the UK on SKY they know they now have a viable audience and potential caller market, now as it stands it's all fine and well them saying to us you can continue to watch our channel on the webstream but how many casual viewers could actually be bothered to do this.
I'd imagine that they know that the only way to keep the majority of the UK viewers is to keep it on the big screen when they know they still have an audience.

If that's the case, why can't eUrotic who operate solely under a foreign, air their nightshow here?
I'm sorry, I still don't buy it, there must be more to Ofcom saying they can't regulate channels with a foreign license. If this was genuinely the case, there is no way on this earth we wouldn't by now have a foreign channel transmitting hardcore porn free-to-air.

I agree Stan , there must be more to Ofcom saying they do not regulate channels with a foreign licence , but they are the ones moaning about not being able to do anything about the BS channels and have said they are powerless to ban or block the channels . There is a difference of course between what BS are showing and hard core porn , the BS channels do not show anything that cannot be shown on regular non adult phone in shows after the watershed , they only breach Ofcom's UK adult chat teleshopping licence rules .

Also it's worth pointing out that the material shown of the Horror Channel last night with the airing of Lolita 2000 was actually stronger than was shown on the ETV nightshow and so far I haven't heard Ofcom bumping their gums about sex and nudity being shown after the watershed on the non Adult Channels, how ironic
Anyway like I said I'd still honestly think in the current climate until Ofcom are challenged and we see a change in the rules that the nightshow is gonna have to be shown as part of an exsisting subscription package or as a bonus channel.
In the long term eventually I'd imagine that all the barriers will soon be taken down, whether this takes months or a few years to become a reality it's gonna happen at some point, or maybe ETV have allready got inside knowledge which we don't about when they said they would be airing some of the nightshow very soon that a relaxation into the rules and regulations has allready been discussed and that the new relaxed rules are imminent.
Now that's more wishful thinking on my part but stranger things have happened and the rules will change just when we're least expecting them to do so.
Anyway watch this space for the ETV nightshow coming to a cinema near you in the not too distant future

I've been quite enjoying this channel again today , plenty of different girls on screen , plenty of movement and tastefully done Ofcom compliant G/G action , 2 girls were having a boxing match earlier , you won't get this sort of stuff on the other channels , it's just a pity that the ETV rep said that caps and vids arn't allowed , not sure why , surely a few caps and vid's would help promote the channel .
