We need to be more expansive against Spain, get McClean and Long playing and a change of formation, because we are being over run in midfield

We were not awful, not great, but not awful. The team showed a lot of spirit, but Croatia were better and had more quality. The country need to nurture more technically gifted players if we are to improve ourselves

I agree. But when you look at how well the Eastern European teams have played so far, you must wonder if the next champions are going to come from that region. What's the betting on a Russia V Croatia final now?

Pundits such as Liam Brady say he is loyal to players and so McClean won't probably get a game. I McClean should be on one of the wings and we should play Duff in a more central role
