The lad's been injury free for the past 2 seasons. He's only 27, his vision on the pitch is up there with likes of Alonso and Xavi. He's one of the best passers of the ball in europe. 10 million would be a snip for someone i reckon. £3 million if it's true is ridiculous. Rodgers should give him a chance to prove himself.
Was he on loan anywhere last season, how did he do?Huh Sturridge would be a good buy, Chelsea might hold out for more money. Liverpool should try and buy Dempsey, Sigurdsson and Dembele. There are some good players playing in the Euros that would also be good buys for Liverpool

Rodgers will go for less expensive options than the regular stars as he will have to build his profile and make the team attractive before we can go for major targets again.

Is this a joke ? If he was that good surely he'd be in your squad and not being shipped off back to Italy for the past 2 seasons, not even in the Italy squad, dont know if he's injured or standing trial or something.

Typical response from you mate and the mug who thanked your post. I didn't say he was as good as Xavi. His vision and ability to pick a pass and execute it are up there with Alonso and Xavi.

Rafa signed him to replace Alonso, saying his passing ability was superior to his before he kicked a ball for Liverpool. When he was fit he went into the team and looked a proper player.

Hodgson loaned him to Juve where he played 30 odd games and they wouldn't pay the 15million we wanted for him, so he comes back last pre season and was superb. Our best player by far, then Kenny loaned him to Milan.

The lad's been messed about a bit, and deserves a decent crack at being a Liverpool player.

RE: Liverpool FC
Would Aqualini get on the team? I know GNP you said he's done well lately, but hasn't Gerrard been used in a deeper position in midfield or is he going to be pushed further up the field, where is at his best and so Aqualini would partner Lucas in midfield. I wonder if Adam will be sold or will he be given a chance by Rodgers

He'd be in my side before Adam or Joe Cole every time mate. He'll be a Man City player by the end of the week though is what i've heard, for a ridiculous 3million quid.

RE: Liverpool FC
You don't need pace when you can ping the ball around like he can. A football brain and a picture of everything going on around you, that's what you need.

dilkington, i've lost count of the amount of times we've wiped the floor with you in here. You've been chewed up and spat out every time you've knocked out a new account and grew the balls to come on.

How many accounts have you had now? I lost count.... It must 6...7.... maybe 8 by now surely?
