I think they got stopped from using there instruments in the first game by old bill.
There was all sorts of confusion,first they got kicked out of the stadium,then allowed back in without there gear.
I think roughly that's what happened.

At least the Croats gave it a go. I know we got lucky and beat Spain in a friendly at the end of last year, but if we do play Spain let's hope Roy's still got a video of that game to remind the players how we beat them. If we can put Spain under enough pressure, we probably might just make then stop playing their natural game and nick a goal. The only other worries I have about tonight is, firstly will we get a dodgy referee who gets a memo from Platini this morning say "Whatever it takes give the dodgiest decisions ever against England."? And secondly, I hope Rooney will keep a cool head too. I think the Ukrainians will try every trick in the book to get him sent off.

Sure if England play Spain in the quarter finals, I think England could beat them. They set up the right way to play Spain and plus the Spanish defence is not that good

They had their instruments confiscated at the first game. Thank god.

But they were allowed to play after that. It was only the first match they couldn't play at.
