This is the one that get's me. Why the fuck has the watershed been put back an hour for the babeshows? Everywhere else the watershed is 21:00 !!
Don't know but it's always been like that on the babeshows for years, babes can't go topless till 10pm
The non topless rule before 10pm came in to force when the babe channels were re-categorised as Adult teleshopping services around September/October 2010 , before this date some channels including the various Sport xxx channels and Bangbabes used to go topless at around 9.30pm , the channels before they were re-classified by Ofcom could more or less use their own judgement at what time they should move into showing the more explicit stuff (after the watershed) , Ofcom just advised that after 9pm there should be a slow transition into showing the more explicit stuff . Ofcom cleared this grey area up when the new rules were brought out and gave a exact time for the topless stuff to start (10pm)
Life is short . Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile .

Not all that funny when you think about it.
The channels are still able to produce a profitable product even under the restrictions imposed by Ofcom. Challenging them would be time-consuming and expensive, with no guarantee of success (no matter how unjust it may seem to us).
Alongside that, you have the epetition, which has attracted less than 700 signatures (apparently some of those also being fraudulent duplicates!). Forum members here and elsewhere are supposedly among the most avid fans of the channels and yet less than 700 can be bothered to sign an epetition in their support. If you are a channel boss looking at that, what would you do, risk a large slice of your profits, and potentially even your channel and the livelihoods of your employees to challenge Ofcom so you can put out a harder content, or play by the rules, and continue to make a profit regardless, and wait for things to change for the better in due course?
If we can't be bothered supporting the channels, why should they put their necks on the line!
its not the viewers job to fight for the channels only those viet work for them would think otherwise.

If the babe channels don't stand up to Ofcom, then things are only going to get worse for them. You say the product is still making a profit, but how big of a profit. What was their profit in 2008 compared to 2011? If its gradually getting smaller the profit, then eventually they could struggle to break even. So they have to challenge Ofcom in some way

RE: Ofcom Discussion
In reference to Rammy claiming that Jamie of Elite agreed that the babe channels have become far too regulated, well fair comment but what exactly has he done about it, absolutely fuck all that's what. I was going to post this on the Elite Thread but then again it could have been viewed by many as an attack on Elite but this is just a perfect example of how I feel about the channels now.
Elite last night for example was a bag of shit, sure the models looked hot but that was about it, it was a piss take, shit 2 for 1's and no the show never got off to a bang, it started shit and ended ended shit, it was useless. This was also the case for just about the whole lot.
They are becoming more and more of a cruel ordeal to endure, you switch on night after night but still we see no change other than they are infact getting tamer and tamer as each passing night, week, month and year goes by.
RLC last year at this time was fantastic, now it only has the occassional good night, Babestation is more interested now in fogging off pics and selling Xtreme, Elite is over cautious, Storm the models never fucking move, it's a coherent shambles.
I see models waving phones, do I pity them, no I don't, if they can't deliver a product that's worth calling then I see no reason to call them either, £1.53 a minute you must be fucking joking.
Ofcom as far as I'm concerned can go fuck themselves and maybe half the producers should so likewise too if they can't be arsed to challenge them as all they are doing is bringing the channels down too.
I want to see competition, I want to see them all going on air in a blaze of glory by all unanimously tearing up the rulebook at the same time and tossing it into a burning fire, send out the message to ofcom, air the dirtiest babe show that's ever been seen that will make Sexysat TV look like a mild distraction.
Ofcom say the babe channels are airing FTA porn well if they want porn let's give it to them in style. Give them something to talk about, and if at the end of the day if ofcom shut the lot of them down at least we'll all know that they went out in a blaze of glory rather than subjecting us to this present day scenario of having to watch them slowly die away without a wimper.

RE: Ofcom Discussion
I've said this before, and i'll say it again, the way i see anything changing any time soon is if the Babe channels themselves stop bowing there heads to F**KIN Ofcom grow some F**KIN Balls and do something about the current shit we are watching night after night
Because the way the things are going, there won't be any channels left at this rate!!! Now some of you on this forum might disagree, however I'm thinking whats the bloody alternative?
It seems all quiet on the western front concerning a possible move from one of the top directors at Ofcom, and if nothing changes at Ofcom then the whole industry will be drifting of into the sunset never to return
You might be thinking it's a risk for the channels to take on Ofcom, and i say of course it is, but desperate times calls for desperate measures, well in my opinion i think we are at this desperate time right now I wish i could think of another idea, but i can't think of any, the babe channels need to man up and roll the dice and take on Ofcom, of course its risky, but in another way what have they got to lose, if they don't do something it will be so long, farewell.

if your this hostile towards the babeshows why do you effin keep watching them as for why jamie hasnt challenged the babeshows he's said why, its not worth the time effort, money and hassle to challenge ofcom (this is probably the same for the other channels). so everyone here who wants the babechannels to challenge ofcom will have to put their money where their mouth is and challenge ofcom themselves regarding the babeshows
as for the babeshows throwing out the rulebook and doing shows in a blaze of glory, that wont happen as the babeshows will get fined etc and ultimately get taken off air and they wont risk that. as blackjaques has said, ofcom wont be relaxing the rules for the shows anytime soon. so the babeshows are going to be like how they are at the moment whether we like it or not
wouldnt surprise me that in a couple of years all the babeshows go online to avoid ofcom's rules

That's what I've been saying, it's all about their looks and nothing else. It's the same with abbey last night, yh she's got everything but that's about it, everyone was getting excited by her just turning around and showing her ass.
