And despite not playing they all celebrated in their full-kit...

...so maybe the slating of JT for doing the same thing will stop now...

Crazy.... No. They've been good enough year in, year out to make that unbelievable squad. Get over it.

Knowing you, it was the sight of Pepe lifting the trophy last night that got to you and prompted your post... So here you go.

Plus, Pepe does the pre flight safety... What more do you want!

Ha, actually it was the sight of him and valdes hugging each other as if they had actually contributed to their countrys success, plus i never denied their ability just found it amazing that a player could contribute nothing yet walk away with 3 major medals.

Notice he isn't smiling in that photo, it's because he's embarrassed, as for antics on the plane he probably felt he had to something to feel he warranted a place on the trip, turns out he was the team clown.

John Terry was only carrying out UEFA's instructions, as were the other Chelsea players who didn't play in the Champions League final. Before the match Chelsea had asked UEFA if their 4 suspended players were able to lift the cup and take part in celebrations, if of course Chelsea were to win the cup. UEFA replied that yes they could -- BUT insisted that if so they would have to be fully kitted. The people who slate John Terry ignore the fact that he was following UEFA's instructions and in addition they are strangely quiet about the other Chelsea players who were full kitted without having played in the match. So they obviously just have an agenda against JT!

like u say admin they only changed into their kit if they won ok! so jt and the rest wouldnt have changed into their kit if they would have lost! jt would have let lampard go up without him if they lost! me personally i would have liked lampard to go up and lift it cos he was the captain for the night! but in my opinion jt thinks about himself just like he did in the semi against barcelona when he said he didnt do anything and then they showed him on video what he did do so he had to change his story!

have your own opinion, lead dont follow.

To be fair, it was Lampard that suggested Terry join him lifting the trophy assuming Chelsea won. It was Lampard that wanted his best mate up there with him. They've lifted past trophies together when Terry has been captain, I don't see what the problem is.
Also, to suggest Terry wouldn't have gone up with Lampard had they of lost is ludicrous. Knowing the sort of player Terry is he'd of no doubt of been hurting as much as the guys who completed the 90 minutes. I'm also sure Terry and the other suspended players would have been as keen as the Bayern players who had to go and pick up a losers medal.Rolleyes

why is it ludicrous? dont u win as a team and lose as a team?? if terry is the captain then surely if wanting to go up he would have gone and changed into his kit if they lost! but we all know he wouldnt have cos he wanted the glory cos the team won, hence the point he thought about the glory and himself, suppose you can say we will never know wether he would have gone up if they lost, but i for 1 know he wouldnt have, cos the kind of person he is! i will never forget the interview bellamy did about jt saying every1 in football knows what he is like!

If Chelsea had lost the final none of the suspended players would have collected runners up medals on the day. Chelsea had an arrangement with UEFA that the suspended players could go up to lift the cup if Chelsea won.

It's ludicrous because of the very reason you stated, because we'll never know.
I doubt he'd have changed into a full kit, although I'm sure if there was a losers medal for him and he was allowed he'd have gone up with them. That's my opinion. He hasn't exactly shy'd away from anything in his life now has he?

Please do spill the beans on "the kind of person he is." I assume you are making these judgements on a personal basis rather then hear say from the media?
Also Bellamy isn't exactly a fine figure of a man, so I'm not sure what moral high ground he has found for himself. He knows what Terry is like because he has played with him, right? Sure...Rolleyes

I really am as bored with these Terry debates as I am with people who consistently grind their axes with him.
I bet you and thousands of others will be waiting in anticipation along with the media hacks praying for a guilty verdict next week to add more fuel to your already raging bonfire of hate.

what was that about making judgements on a personal basis lol? this coming from you who stole a paragraph from some1 commenting on phil mccnultys blog! when i questioned you about this you wasnt seen for a while! i always have my own opinions mate unlike you who got into a debate with me by stealing what some1 else had said and then making out it was your own opinion!Rolleyes
