[split] Red Light Central - Chat & Discussion
Hey guys, new poster here but thought I should let people know about this as it's pretty important.

Tried to call Lucy Zara during her evening show on the 30th/31st of May. When I tried to have a chat, I was first asked if I'd like a queue jump - cost of £5 - which I didn't want (especially as nobody was on the line). I decided to let the call run seeing as there was no other option, but was then made to listen in and so returned to the menu.

On my second run through, I decided to accept the charge. Again nobody else was on the line, but all I was greeted to was silence. Lucy didn't appear to know that there was a call waiting.

This was really frustrating annoyed. Ended up losing £15!! annoyed So just a warning for the future here.

RE: Red Light Central - Calling, Telephone & Texting Issues
This was posted on another forum, so its not just you guys having issues with. These channels:

Judging by the number of comments about issues with calling Redlight/Playboy here and in other places, this seems to have been going on for far too long now at redlight. The only way things like this will change is if callers who have been ripped off complain directly to the phone regulator Phone Pay Plus : http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/For-the-P...laint.aspx

Do this and you WILL get your money refunded, no doubt about it. Redlight/PLAYBOY will also be forced to make sure there are no repeat occurrences in future, or risk more big fines.

Amongst the other listed reasons to complain on that link, companies offering premium rate services are NOT permitted to have services which are not of sufficient technical quality, ie they cannot blame faulty kit or providers. If they want to charge us £1.53 per minute PLUS connection fees to use their service, it is THEIR responsibility to ensure the service runs correctly at all times, so there is no risk of callers losing money by being charged but never connected. They also cannot use ANY unreasonable delay to keep callers on longer than is absolutely necessary.

There seems to be complaints about Redlight/Playboy service going back months now, so they must be aware of the issues. It would appear that they either don't care enough to fix them, are incompetent idiots who should not be allowed to run premium rate services, or they are in fact actually happy to have callers sit in menus without being connected, or hang up in frustration and have to pay another connection fee when they call back again.

It's a well known and documented tactic of premium rate scammers to always try to get those who make public complaints to contact them directly, so they can keep the issues under the radar and away from the regulator, thus allowing them to continue to operate their scam. Not saying Redlight/Playboy are scammers, but it would certainly appear that they need to sort these issues out and stop ripping their callers off. No other channel seems to have these issues.

Again, make them sit up and take action - if you have experienced issues with you calls to Redlight/Playboy, heres the link you need to use
http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/For-the-P...laint.aspx
Please refer any other posters to this link and lets get this sorted out now.

Question regarding calls to red light
I have been considering calling Ava Blue on the channel for some time as she is so fucking sexy, however as i am contract my phone has barred the number automatically. I was just wondering if any guys on here could tell me iff the debit card option they provide is safe to use, and that i will get charged the right amount of £1.50 per minute and no more?

any help much appreciated,

Robbie

RE: Question regarding calls to red light
Some simple advice for you. Never EVER pay for any sort of "adult" service with a debit card. If they decide to take more money than they should ( in error, of course *cough* ) you have to call the bank and tell them you've been ripped off by a wank channel.

Either get a pre pay card, a PAYG mobile, or use Google and search for freebies.

Only 3 things in life are certain. Death, Taxes and lesbians will never look how they do in porn movies.

RE: Red Light Central - Calling, Telephone & Texting Questions/Issues
Have had the same failed call experiences but IMHO it is made worse by then receiving a text message(s) after the failed call giving you the useless piece of info that you can get more on their website and being charged £2 for it. They are charging £2 per minute for the call then feel compelled to charge extra for an unsolicited text.
