The fact It's goalless right now is a huge relief,we could so easily be 2/3 down,some of the defending has been woeful & attacking wise not much at all.

Well! The performance was poor in truth,but football is a results business and that being said,we did the business.
Downing's goal was a beauty and stirling showed glimpses of what he can be capable of,but performance rating.6/10 must do better.

I followed it on bbc text, sounded like we where out played. n considering the team we put out its a very disappointing start. still as someone has pointed out its results that matter. I actually had to Google FC Gomel to find out who they where!!

Only our 4th pre season game. They're 15 games into the season. More minutes under the belt, clean sheet, away win in europe. Job done.

Downings strike was a pearler he caught it lovely a lacklustre performance but never the less a clean sheet and back 2 ours next week for return leg,cmon the pool!
