Not on that showing, lot of positives to take from the game but as with last season, our lack of goal threat is worrying

Levy has to leave Spurs now his made the side a lot worse in my book so much for his vision in getting into the champions league and challenging in the league. Congrats to Newcastle well deserved the win and have the makings of a good team and squad.

I'm really pleased to see Newcastle win their first game of the season against Tottenham 2-1

I have to say Tottenham were the better team, the pace of Bale and Lennon really troubled us down the wings and they hit the post twice in the first half

I'm still not convinced with Simpson, as our first choice right back

I'm actually surprised we won the game, as we were second best to Tottenham in the game today

Still one game gone and three points already in the bag

Bring on the European Champions Chelsea next weekend

I know some fans seem to think that because of one match, Swansea and Fulham will be contenders for the Premiership title, West Brom are in the hunt for a Champions League spot and Liverpool are dark horses for relegation, its crazy

Am shocked that Nathan Dyer hasn't been considered for playing for England, good little player.

I guess your right, give it 10 to 15 games and it will give a better indication of what direction West Brom are going this season. But looking at West Brom's performance today the signs are looking positive for them

As much as i dislike the appointment of Steve Clark, you must give credit where it is due. Thought West Brom played well today and deserved their victory, nothing wrong with any of the major decisions although the first penalty and sending off were a little soft and could of gone either way.
