2-2 against a decent city reserve team wasn't bad,not bad viewing and the young American tooks his goals well, would have been nice to see Assaidi in action but that will happen soon enough I'm sure.

I know most of you are most likely aware of the young players in yer club, but reading about some of the young strikers in your club, they like sound exciting prospects

RE: Liverpool FC
Morgan and Yesil (23 in 20 for Leverkusen U19 and 19 in 20 for Germany) have been goal machines so far in their young careers. I'd rather we had them both, hungry lads on the bench than some of the free transfers kicking around who's careers are nearly finished

RE: Liverpool FC
As disappointed as I was about the transfer deadline day debacle,I'm more than 'CONFIDENT' we have enough attacking talent in and around the first team squad to start mounting a serious assault towards the top off the table.
Call me an optimist or crazy, but I really do believe that, don't get me wrong,I'm sure there's gonna be a few more disappointments, but come Christmas/January I think we'll be in the mix for a top four finish and hopefully may add some numbers to our squad in the Jan window to help with that final charge.
Don't for one second, think I'm suggesting we have the strongest squad and will be blowing teams out off the water! I'm not! But as someone who follows more than just the first team,I know we have plenty of talent just like Stirling in our reserve teams (Under 21/18) so I am quite optimistic.(Glass half full rather than half empty)
Believe me,It's not impossible or improbable, and before all the doubters start with there,"He's Nuts" responses, just remember 25/05/2005

Unfortunately not, I genuinely think that - without a proven goal scorer - we will struggle this year.
I pray im wrong though - COME ON REDS

Your crazily optimistic, I can't see Rodgers giving Morgan or the Kraut much of a shout in the Premier League, whats going on with Dani Pacheco???

I don't like the sound of Jose Enrique saying he's willing to fight for his leftback spot, I was under the self impression that Johnson & Downing have played there this season because he was injured.

According to reports,Leftback is where BR sees downing playing, that or left back at home.

RE: Liverpool FC
Mitchell, you fancied us for top 3 before we kicked a ball this season. We need to be within touching distance of the top 4 by the next window, bring in some more firepower then hopefully. I like how we're trying to do things. Allen looks the absolute business to me, frighteningly good footballer. Sterling's been superb, don't have words to describe the lad. Shelvey, another positive. Borini and Suarez (not including sunday) have been good as well. We've got Sahin getting back to speed and Assaidi hopefully making his debut next monday. It's gonna take a load of hours and hard work at Melwood to make the style flow like clockwork but we'll get there.

Yesil scored 2 and made 1 for Germany in a 3-1 win against England in the u19's earlier. Watched his goals from the u17 wc as well, (golden boot winner) kid's deadly!
