Storm Attacked By Ofcom

I've avoided reading these Ofcom threads of late, but the title of this one intrigued me so much I just had to.

And now I've been reminded all over again why I stopped.

A fucking watershed is a fucking watershed is a fucking watershed!! These channels should be allowed to jump into full strength (haha) material at 9pm on the dot. You can't say the watershed is at nine, and then in the next breath say, but you've got to wait until ten before you include any nudity, because then the watershed isn't at fucking nine, is it? It's at ten!!

Just been watching the xfactor and I've just seen a much more revealing outfit broadcast at 8PM. And eh what about the Olympics that were broadcast, anyone for a game of beach volleyballl Also somebody should fucking well tell ofcom that these channels are not supposed to be for children, hence the reason they are in the Adult section

If someone writes a letter to Ofcom or a letter about Ofcom to The Guardian then that sentence should be included.

If anyone is looking to spread the word about Ofcom through then your best option looks like being The Guardian

Can I propose that we have a babe channel olympic games broadcast ofcourse on the BBC where the competitors will be naked and have David Cameron come on at the end of the games to say how much this has promoted tolerance the Gymnastics would eh......certainly be well worth a watch aswell as the wrestling

I knew it was too good to last...

the days of investigating the channels are never over, just all the complaints were pretty much thrown out.

i too am fed up of the protecting children argument too. especially as there are lots of safeguards already built in to stop children watching the babeshows. including pin protection and hiding the adult menu from the epg. yet ofcom seem blinkered into forcing the channels to tame things using this ridiculous argument

hopefully maria miller the new media minister will apply her stance on internet porn to the babeshows, but doubt it and things will stay the same for a while yet

Being allowed to freely rant and swear at the government, without fear of the possibility of being visited in the middle of the night and carted off to be interrogated over expressing 'subversive' opinions? Yep, I'd call that democracy.

Sad, but we knew this would happen.

Oh well, this will only further diminish views and calls for Storm, and possibly for the other channels as well.

Ofcom loves to get money from the babe channels, but has no problem allowing mutilated penises on Sexcetera, or bare asses in commercials and on morning talk shows

How do you do that, I never knew you could make certain channel sections disappear

There has to be some form of rules and guidelines whether its to do with Tv, video games etc etc but it when they take it too far and go over board, its not even as if the channels are putting out hardcore content day or night but yet there down on them like a ton of bricks. The channels are at the 900's because its adult entertainment do expect to be fully hardcore no as that would asking for too but what ever happened to pin protection or better yet parents taken responsibility in what there kids can and cannot watch instead they hand there children a tv in the room and they could be watching god knows what. The amount of times i've seen parents buy there kids 18 rated games and the kids are under ten and not a care in the world as to what there kids are viewing.
