They don't deserve to be a human let alone fan. Sadly I have heard it when I used to be a season ticket holder at villa a while back when Liverpool came to play.

Thankfully the guy and a few others were ejected immediately by stewards.

RE: Liverpool FC
Just like to say that I'm glad that Liverpool fans and people within that community have got the truth from what really happened during the Hillsborough disaster.

I wasn't born when the disaster happened, but I have read up on it and its very tragic at what happened that day.

The people behind the covering up of the truth need to hang their heads in shame. It was disgusting to say the least what they did.

The FA have a lot to answer for. They surely knew that stadium was not safe enough to host that match that day. The fans that went to that match, we're basically going to a death trap.

Finally the Sun. A vile and disgusting newspaper that shamefully portrayed lies as truth. The writer Kelvin MacKenzie, who wrote those lies is a sewer rat and despite his apology, its too little too late and I hope that if he appears on any programmes that people boycott it and that goes for the Sun too, I hope throughout Britain and Ireland people stop buying that newspaper.

I'm glad Liverpool fans and their community finally got the truth and I hope the family and friends of those, who died that day get justice for them

RE: Liverpool FC
Boils my blood that it's taken 23 years for this to happen. Fans of other clubs have doubted what we've been saying for 23 years. Liverpool fans have had to endure 23 years of doubts, blame and finger pointing. We've been accused of being "always the victim, never to blame" and been called "the self pities" and been accused of "murdering their own" and that's not just exclusive to one particular club's supporters, who use the excuse "some of your fans chant about Munich so its payback". It's been coming from dozens and dozens of different club's fans.....so while i welcome the sympathy and the fantastic outpouring of support from other clubs supporters, it SHOULD NOT have taken this report and 23 years for people to realise the real truth. It's always been out there for people to see but it was just easier for everyone to turn a blind eye and ignore it. I'm not having a pop at anyone here, i'm just venting my frustration and anger that has followed my initial joy and satisfaction following the reports release.

I hope now that everyone who has been affected by the tragedy can start to find closure. Apart from the deaths of the 96, there were over 500 people injured that day. Also people have endured mental breakdowns, have turned to alcohol, marriages have broken down there have been suicides as a result of people being unable to cope with what they saw or went through that day. Thousands of lives have been destroyed. While this can never be fully put right, JUSTICE is the very least everyone affected deserves.

Without doubt one of the most notable pieces of writing I've read over the last few days Master Yoda, you should email it to the current Sun editor Dominic Mohan, asking if he's got the balls to print it in his paper!

This is what annoys me when people who don't know much about what happened or more so the after affects, again nor am I having a go at posts in here but people in general, they have their say without even thinking about the bigger picture, there may have been 96 people who died on April 15 1989 but there was hundreds if not thousands who attended 96 funerals, a majority of which have suffered everyday ever since & that’s not even counting the immediate families & survivors.

Yes they may have been some who were in the wrong but you can also add the Police, Ambulance service even one or two journalists to that as well. Then there's the stewards & ground staff & possibly even a few Nottingham Forest fans.

What annoys me just as much is the fools who are coming out with the, "Oh I hope this will put a stop to all the chanting". What has come out of this report isn't going to stop people bombing & shooting up Camp Bastion or people taking pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge in her private moments, so what makes you think it's going to stop the mindless idiots of modern day Britain thoughtlessly mouthing off at a football match.
These cockroaches won't give a second thought as to what the backgrounds of their fellow fans of their club are, do they know that the person standing behind them may have suffered tragedy & are still feeling the effects, so have come to watch a football match for a few hours relief.... Or so they thought.

Fans from all clubs chant about Luis Suarez, wasn't it Man Utd he had conflict with so why will the Sunderland fans give him grief today, telling him he knows what he is. Some fans of clubs may finally stop the chants but having heard them at Goodison Park a few weeks ago from the away fans I very much doubt this report will close people's mouths or at least make them think twice.

Opinions may change but attitudes won't!!!

So,another day of frustration, sloppy defending for the Sunderland goal hitting the woodwork twice,Suarez gets booked for being fouled (Definitely a penalty).
Having said that we played some good attacking/aggressive football especially in the second half young Sterling improved as the match went on and done some great work for the Suarez equaliser.
All in all, disappointing result but encouraging signs.

I feel everyone on this forum since the report came out would share the same setimernts by you and Maaster Yoda and I think it is now up to the clubs themselves to throw their full weight of support behind it and back Liverpool FC and now ask their fans to do the same. Once the football community is united in one voice that the powers that be cannot ignore.

Then hopefully they will move things forward quickly enough to try and bring total closure adfter 23 years.
As for the Sun..I think if there was a special committe at Westminster
set up to look at their role in this tragedy then they need to appear in front of it.

We could hear United fans loud and clear on the radio earlier singing "Always the victims, it's never your fault". Sounded like thousands of them. On motd as well i've heard. No booing to drown the filth out. Rotten to the core.

On the other hand Leeds sang Justice for the 96, got applause from the full stadium and Man City sang You'll Never Walk Alone at Stoke. Classy that.

Not every United fan shares that sentiment. What happened all those years ago at Hillsborough was terrible and what has happened to the families and friends left behind in the intervening years has been a disgrace and a scandal.
I can remember seeing the tragedy unfold on the tv at the time and for the authorities; the Police and snivelling politicians to cover up their mistakes with the assistance of the media is profoundly abhorrent and must be backed up with prosecutions for all those who are guilty.

Yes there is a fierce, healthy rivalry between United and Liverpool but sadly there are sections of the 'fans' who are a bunch of bigoted disgraceful morons...just as there are sections of 'fans' at Liverpool, or Leeds or City who like to act like crashing planes, while singing about Munich. All of it is unnecessary and not welcome at any ground...it should be stamped out wherever it happens.
The simple fact is those who have died in tragic circumstances should be remembered and honoured for who they were and the game of football played and supported in the manner all real fans want to see.
