wont make a blind bit of difference in my opinion as all the reshuffle is doing is putting all the freeview channels in 1 block, like they are on sky.

not fair i think to blame the producers for how the channels are at the moment because they have to follow the rules set by ofcom and if they didnt ofcom would pounce so can understand them going seemingly "ultra cautious". also im sure if the channels could challenge the rules they would. remember jamie (elitetv) saying several months ago that the babeshows are over regulated and hed like to challenge ofcom, but at the moment its not worth the hassle

We talk about the shows being much better a few years ago, myself included but back in the 2010 era I was still not 100% happy that they were really going down the direction which we had all hoped that one day they would. We need change, the babe channels are fast becoming a typical predictable airing of the tried and tested materal.

At the end of the day they are supposed to be rated 18+ but nothing is being done to achieve this. Ofcom need to be told, the babe channels can be that dull some nights I've literally fallen asleep waiting for something good to happen, generally by 1am you normally have an idea whether it's going to be a night to remember or forget. The babes channels seriously need to grow up and evolve and start to give the punters what they really want to see.

I believe a reshuffle of the channels will take place on the 3rd July with the main changes happening on the freeview box's, I sincerely hope that with this brings in a much more liberal era for this never ending saga with OTT censorship laws which to date have remained unchanged and unchallenged for too long now. Isn't there a way to contact ofcom through their site? Just mention what u said above like the shows are meant to be 18+ and tell them to outline in detail what the channels are restricted to, why not attempt to challenge them a little saying how tame the shows are, how the girls are like statues on a night show etc

Tell them is this how strict it's gonna be from now in terms of what can be shown on tv, say they behave and operate appropriately on daytime shows and I don't think ofcom has reported anything bad about them so it's evident the channels are complying with everything.

I just think you guys deserve an explanation and that is through contacting ofcom, tell them to once and for all state what can and can't be shown on a night show because your confused with what you see on a night show, maybe suggest its reminiscent of a daytime show to you.

I may be suggesting rubbish lol but it's an idea.

I thought it might be interesting to revisit this thread again, arguably at the moment the babe channels are at there lowest ebb for as long as I can remember. Tame shows seem to be the order of the day, good shows are becoming something of a rare event now, we are seeing the models wearing 2 pairs of knickers becoming common place. They are going backwords.

Very few are willing to take the bull by the horns and just go for it, overcautious to the extreme, I've had enough of it. Patience is a virtue but in babe channel land world it's seem's like a fucking eternity.

We can all blame the obvious ofcom rules and regulations for this but shouldn't the responsibilty for the output also rest on the shoulders of the channel execs. They are in effect going down the self censorship route.

I'm pretty sure when this type of entertainment was first thought up this wasn't the direction they had intended to go down. What's happened to all the fun and spontaneity that the channels used to possess.

I don't want to be a prophet of doom and gloom here because like I said we still do get our moments but I get the feeling they are getting less and less. Anybody else share a similar opinion

It really is poor most nights. I cant begin to tell the time by looking at the babe channels because often the content is exactly the same at stupid oclock at 10pm. Last night I brounced round the channels at 3am and I swear the presenters had not changed poses or costumes since 10 or 11. Wheres the variety, variation and surprises? Noone dares do anything unusual in case the Teleban accuse them of a "high risk of causing serious or widespread offence against generally accepted standards". Its not just double knickers and granny knickers, babes are even faking kisses. Who exactly is supposed to be outraged by this? And so what, Offence is not accepted as grounds for anything else to be banned provided it is after 10 and there are warnings. You bet Ofcom will uphold Channel 4s right to broadcast a documentary about the origins of Islam bespite over a thousand complaints.

They really are running scared. Another ultra tame night, many girls not even topless for long periods of time. Double or bulletproof knickers are back in vogue and the camera men must all be located at least 10 yards away from the girls. I wonder if the channels are actually making much money out of such tame content?

I barely watch them anymore now! Seems a waste of time no encouragement to pick up the phone.

unfortuneatly i think you may be right i think the drop in content strength is plain to see it may be a result of the wrong type of girls being put into nightshows when they have no desire to show anything or interact with other girls eg recent post 10 pm gemma hiles shows.maybe they should bring in bonus related pay

When you look at most of the problems with the channels today, people can say its down to ofcom. However, things that piss me off, and have nothing to do with ofcom are: osg, and having the camera zoomed in to close!!!! I won't bother naming channels cuz we can all see who does this, but can somebody tell me why?
Granted revenue will be your excuse for osg, but having the camera zoomed up so you can't see the girls legs, or top of head!! Is pointless and annoying.

Not much to rave about on the channels at the moment Tommie Jo, Michelle Thorne, and Rachel Taylor are about the only girls giving great shows at the moment. Most of the babes seem pissed off all the time. Lots of eager to please girls out their waiting for a chance, maybee it's time for some willing faces to take over
