RE: Football League: Discussion
Seems Blackburn fans have shown such opposition to Billy McKinlay becoming manager because of his links to Steve Kean that Blackburns owners have ended their pursuit of him. You do wonder who the Blackburn fans would accept and indeed who would want the Blackburn job if the fans hold so much sway

Disgraceful scenes at hillsborough last night, doesn't at all surprise me that it was a l***s fan, good to see it hasn't taken long to identify him http://www.thisisgloucestershire.co.uk/F...story.html

You would have thought police would have been more on the ball .After all it was only 2 weeks since they had to deal with rioting Hull fans at hillsborough.people in glasshouses etc.

I'd be very surprised if he took it ,bearing in mind he's never worked further north than London and as lived in Bournemouth for at least 30years.I reckon he's waiting for QPR to sack mark Hughes.

And before thatcher bought Walkersteel for £300million with taxpayers money Blackburn's average crowd was 7,000. Loyal supporters or glory hunters ?.You decide .

and wonder how much money the tax payer made when they sold it

all this talk reminds me off 91 when the press were scoffing that jack walker wouldnt get kenny dauglish to come to some poxy lancashire club they were not laughing a few year later when we were premership champions

you will find most blackburn fans are not glory hunters how could we be when we are only 30 miles down the road from both liverpool and the manchester clubs
