Is That Film Any Good?

it's well worth a watch. as kalel says, if you liked the alien movies then you'll like this.

I,m a big fan of the Alien films especially the first two, and i also have a lot of steelbooks but £24 for the Play.com exclusive is a lot of money for a single film, especially for one i hav,nt seen.

definitely worth a watch, but if you're looking for all the answers, then you're out of luck. Offers up more questions, but I liked that, it would have been too easy to just explain it all away too quickly. Will be buying the blu-ray as soon as it's out to check the alternates...

I thought it was a throughly great addition to the alien franchise and is very thought provoking, looking forward to recieving my bluray copy.

I too Reccomend Prometheus, a very good addition to the alien franchise. Yes it does leave questions to be answered, but that was always going to be the case given that its going to be the first of a new alien trilogy. Good plot, effects and thought provoking

Getting it when it's out next week

It is a good watchable movie and while set in the story arc do not watch it expecting to see Alien. The main Aliens that are in it are 'Engineers' who are believed to be the creators of Earth. You see one in the original Alien movie, 'The Space Jockey' sat dead in the Alien space ship. The dvd is supposed to show the full beginning which explains the formation of Earth. Sadly the movie version did suffer a bit from the editors knife but hopefully this has been rectified for the dvd release but even if not it is still an exciting film overall. Ridley Scott said on release that this film is about 4 movies away from the Alien Story.

Reviews please for Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, another film i am thinking of adding to my collection.

^^^^ it was alright. it won't blow your mind but i didn't regret the time i spent watching it. probably 6/10.
