Becky's wife???? I'm pretty sure she's into men! I know the whole joke with her and Rachel, but I think they are into guys. Bi likely, but I think hetero as well. Also, I vaguely remember Becky saying online that she's into men

No-one has said anything about them not shagging guys, or even being bi.
Referring to their bestest best friend (and usually, at some point at least, flatmate) as 'wife' is perfectly common among the babes, it has nothing whatsoever to do with their sexual orientation, just a term of affection.

I refer to my roommate as my wife, nagging cunt does my head in.

I used to live with two female colleagues when I was 17, they reffered to me as their son, even to this day(11 years later) I still call them my mothers, just one of them things

indeed munch. women often in general call their closest friends or house/flatmate "wife" or "wifey" nothing new at all and as you say its a term of affection
