I think thats total bollocks. £65,900 is nothing to them, they need to ban them from all competioins for 8 years.

I dont know about anybody elses views on the sudden emergence of "the society of black lawyers" to me seems pretty racist in itself and doesn't help the cause in anyway at all, even the name of the group is causing racial divides in itself, if there were a group called the society of white lawyers imagine the uproar, all that fifa have to do is remove serbia from all competitions for atleast a year i dont know why fifa wont do anything like this to help stop racism, also the media aren't helpimg at all, i dont think racism has increased, its just the media searching harder to report more incedents...

I've just read that Platini doesn't agree with the decision of the investigation panel, hope this means that stronger action is to be taken. So lets see if UEFA have the guts to really make punishments that mean something.

I really fear for Newcastle against Man City tomorrow, as Ben Arfa looks to be a doubt for us.

If Man City play Ageuro and Tevez up front then I see us getting torn to shreds on the counter attack, as Santon and Simpson tend to get caught out of position when they go forward. Our crossing into the box has to improve, so I'm hoping Pardew plays Ferguson at left back, as he is a good crosser of the ball and move Santon to right back, as I think he is a better crosser with the ball than Simpson, who either hits the ball too high or gets his cross easily cleared by a defender.

Despite his poor form, I think we need to play Gutierrez in order to help Ferguson/Santon stop Silva and Zaballeta on the right hand side. Tiote needs to up his game as well and improve on his passing. I hope Marveaux is given a starting position, as he is very good with the ball and has done well when he is picked by Pardew.

At least Man City have problems as well with Kompany out injured and Barry suspended, so it offers us a glimmer of hope for tomorrows match.

This is the team I would pick for Newcastle. I would have us playing a 4-2-3-1 formation for tomorrows game.

It was big surprise to see Liverpool lose to Villa at home today.

In my opinion, Rodgers should be given lots of time at Liverpool and be allowed to stamp his mark at Liverpool. When a club goes into transition like Liverpool, it needs time to develop and there are always going to be bumps during that journey.

Although I do personally feel he needs to make some brave decisions such as giving Sterling some time on the bench because playing over 20 games already this season is tough on a young lad and he is in danger of burning out.
