The problem Newcastle may face is their £60k wage cap, their interested in Loic Remy but apparently QPR may be setting up a larger financial package that could scupper Newcastle's chances.

Yeah very true giving Mike Ahey's policy bout wages could make things tricky... I'm not sure if Remy is the kinda player we need theres no mistaking the boy has talent... But hey any sort of Striker at present will be a decent one need at least 2 Darren Bent would be decent but have a feeling he will be out of our reach money wise

But if we break our wage cap for certain players then there is the possibility that some of our current players will want a pay rise too. We have to be careful of finances and not bring the club into heavy debt again.

However if you look at it from another side if we don't pay these wages for top players then we don't progress as a club and we fall further behind other clubs.

Its a tough predicament to be in.

My targets would be John Guidetti i'm told he is on his way back from injury and i'm pretty certain city will want to loan him out some where to get games under his belt... Another one which would be hard but is Ashley Williams for me has been the best CB in the league so far... Not just defending but he can also pick those 50 yard passes out very well... Also Scot Sinclair would be a decent loan signing needs games under his belt badly is all right Mr Manchini is saying he is to blame for Scot well give the lad some fucking game time 8minutes every 10 games is a joke the lad has no chance! I also think Peter Crouch would be worth a punt as well depending the price tag is right..

But can't see Pardew getting any of them is just who i would go for at present time giving our position at the minute due to injuries Ect!

If Pardew wants a centre half, there aren't many going about that are better than Ashley Williams right now. Plus he has plenty of Premier League experience and knows the English game. Whether or not he become available or not is another issue. If Newcastle aren't will to spend big on a striker maybe the best option is a six-month loan for someone like Darren Bent. He'll guarantee you goals and would be the perfect cover for Cisse until the summer. I know he has played with Sunderland but surely Magpies fans wouldn't care if he scored goals. Or does this go against Newcastle's apparent transfer policy of signing players over 26 years old. Pardew maybe best to push Ben Arfa right up into the hole behind the striker if he is going to continue with one out and out striker this season and just let him work his magic. Sooner Ben Arfa and Cabaye get fit the better it is for Newcastle and football in general. I would say the club definitely want a centre back, a winger who could possibly operate on either side, another striker preferably a goalscorer.

RE: January Transfer Window 2013
I am not sure if Pardew is thinking of getting a Centre half but we need one for sure Steven Taylor just can't seem to play more than 5 games on the bounce... As much as he is loved by the fans he just can't keep him self Injury free great player but is a Injury nightmare... Mike Williamson performances have been terrible is all over the place just not been able to read the game this season at all getting caught out time after time probably could argue the fact that its because the team haven't been at there best... Like i said for me Ashley Williams is the best CB in the league this season not just his deffensive work but the boy can play football hit a 50 yard pass am shocked he is not been chased by the likes of man city, Man united and Arsernal tbh! is that good i think... Mike Ashley is not going to spend the kinda money Swansea will demand as well id imangine... The Choosen One i agree Darren Bent on a loan deal would be great he is a proven goal machine weather Villa will want to loan him out i doubt it unless maybe Newcaste agreed to buy at the end of the season as part of a deal... Newcastle fans would not have a problem him being a EX Sunderland player as long as he bangs the goals in...

John Guidetti for me on a loan deal would be great on his way back for City and with the Strikers they have am sure they would be happy to loan him out for some game time help his fitness.... Also if i was Pardew Peter Crouch would be on my short list also him and Papiss could be a decent partnership i think... But at the moment it is looking like Remy is going to be the one...

The Problem we have is i can count at least 8 players out Injured Cheick Tiote has fucked of to the African cup and we lost Demba so we have 9 players out and Ba gone...

As long as Pardew can get Ashley to send and stop trying to make a profit for him self all the time we will be fine am sure once we can get a few players back... And hopefully can get at least 3 in the window

Well we have signed players like Cisse and Debuchy, who are both 27, so I'm confused now what our transfer policy is.

I think getting a centre back is more important for Newcastle than getting another striker. We have been heavily linked with FC Twente's Douglas, but Inter Milan are sniffing around, so we would have a fight on our hands to get him. Although he might not be a suitable signing because I think we need a bit of Premier League experience to get us out of our current situation. Ashley Williams would be a good signing, but I doubt we would get him, as he is the captain of Swansea and we probably couldn't afford to get him. I think we should make an effort to get Lescott or Dawson or both actually because there is talk Colocinni isn't happy and wants to go back to Argentina. I feel sorry for Williamson because although he has limited ability, he does do his best and he is being made a scapegoat for all our problems.

I'm 50/50 about getting Bent, as he does score goals, but I'm not sure how we work him into a formation that gets the best out of him and the team.

I would love to get Guidetti. I don't think he is part of Mancini's plans at Man City and we would be in with a chance of buying him. He was scoring goals for fun in Holland and he is regarded as the new Ibrahimovic, so it would be great if Newcastle made a bid for him. I don't really want us to get Crouch and I doubt Ashley would want to splash money on a player, who is over 30 years old. Although along with Guidetti, I think we should go for Danny Graham or Shane Long.

To be honest, although it makes our squad thinner, I don't think Tiote is a big loss, as he has been in poor form this season.

They said that a few seasons ago and look what happened, we got relegated.

Also I don't believe we are too good to go down because if we are too good then we wouldn't be fighting a relegation battle this season.
