think its to do with the licences and the amount of hours they can broadcast thats why cant have masti chat and Bs daytime running side by 5:30am ti 11 and why BS daytime xtra has breaks for ad's and the bs day shows finish at 8 instead of 9

As a freeviewer, why would I spend alot of money upgrading my equipment just to get one new babechannel when I could spend the money on sky, and get them all.

Just makes the whole thing pointless imo.

Ofcom released their latest licensing update Bulletin today that concerns new licenses granted in December 2012, a Digital freeview licence was granted to a company called "TXT ME TV LIMITED" the service name/channel name will be xxXPanded TV , so it looks like xxXpanded TV will be coming to freeview .

From a516digital.com today. see attachment

Just done a scan on my TV and xxXpanded TV has now appeared on freeview Ch 180 , no info as yet it's just a blank screen .

I just got the automatic re-tuning message and there, minus programme information, it was.

you will also find that playboy tv chat has gone.

Apparantly there has been problems with the contract so we will have to see what happens with the channel that was going to transmit on Ch179.

They still have to transmit 4 shows simultaneously on one channel since they don't know which one people will be watching. There is still some debate on the digitalspy forum about whether or not an internet connection would be required to do this.

Since it is due to start before Xmas, some more info should now be appearing in the 7/8 day EPG on freeview boxes and TVs, not seen any details yet.

This is better news than the last fiasco turned out to be

Just done a rescan this morning. ch180 has showed up in EPG ok, but ch198 PBC is still there.
