EPL Relegation Battle 2012/13 - Who's Going Down?
Quite simple really, just say which three teams you feel will be be relegated from this season's (2012/13) EPL.

My three would be - QPR/READING/WIGAN

VILLA.

In a whole world of trouble.

Massive home game against Newcastle on the Jan 29th. They both play league games on the 19th. Newcastle at home to Reading and Villa away to WBA - Newcastle have the easier of those. Then Villa have to play Bradford and Millwall in the cups whilst Newcastle have 10 days off before their crunch game!

Not that I think that Newcastle are safe. Sold their top scorer, captain wants to leave and have a very thin squad. Too big a price with the bookies at the moment - value bet. Their only saving grace is that Reading are out of their depth and nailed on to finish bottom. QPR are trying to climb out of such a big hole after their abysmal start and Villa are shell-shocked and in free fall and their goal difference is shocking.

Wigan are in their usual battle, but have experience of getting out of it (but surely a matter of time before they fail to rescue themselves one of theses years).

Southampton see to have the goals in them that might get them a few crucial wins.

Sunderland will grind out enough points but it won't be pretty.

18. Villa/Wigan -coin toss, that goal difference could be the nail in villa's coffin.
19.QPR - just couldn't recover from that start under Hughes.
20.Reading - just not good enough.

I write these things down every season before it starts, my prediction at the start was Wigan/Norwich/Reading now it's QPR/Reading for definite and a toss up between Newcastle/Villa/Wigan for that last spot..

Wigan just grind out results home or away, now they've lost Ramis that might change. Newcastle's home form may keep them up, Villa were my dark horses, they might have a young squad and what not but they're just simply not good enough or ready to be playing top level football.

Pre season went for Reading, Southampton and Norwich
Now Reading (will let in too many goals) QPR(damage already done) and Aston Villa(too young and naive). I also think Newcastle are going to be to close to the relegation zone for a while yet, but surely they'll sort themselves out

Villa need to wake up...Reading may turn it around, but not sure they have the staying power, Wigan will as said...grind it out yet again, QPR have a fighting chance with Harry and if his new signings work, will climb...but climb enough?? Newcastle cant afford not to replace or may go to the wire...Fulham and Sunderland are also far from safe from being dragged into the end battle.

Reading/Villa/Fulham

Reading
Fulham
Aston Villa

I can see Wigan (players with previous experience of relegation battles), QPR (Redknapp factor) and Southampton (have shown they can score goals and get results all season) all surviving. So the three I've gone for might surprise a few people. Reading are showing fight but they can't keep the back door shut, Fulham have been on poor form recently and this current Villa team is the worst Villa I've ever seen.

Sorry to any supporters of the three I've selected, no malice intended. Just going by the facts.

Reading - we've improved a little lately but ultimately I can't see us surviving
Wigan - I just think their luck will run out
Villa - The rot has set in and I just can't see them getting out of it

QPR - It may all be settled again the last day of the season I agree with Stillroom it's possible that our luck will run out, but I hope it's only finally runs out on the last day.
Villa/Newcastle - The last spot to be decided between these two.

QPR - Too much alleged unrest and bickering and too many big egos in the dressing room, though with Harry you never know.
Reading - Brave attempt but...
Villa - In freefall imo. Unless they invest in some experienced quality will be heading in only one direction.

I would have put Newcastle in the mix on current form but they show signs of buying one or two decent players who together with returning injured players should help them move out of the danger zone.

I dare say my predictions should prove a boost to these teams!!
