The I Hate Alex Ferguson Thread!

Sky showed him telling Man Utd's press officer “we’ll get him later. Ban him on Friday”. That's not to say Ferguson doesn't do decent things as well. Several times he's asked Man Utd's supporters to stop obscene chanting about Arsene Wenger, who is not exactly a friend of his. Overall I think his behaviour is often poor for someone in his position and I notice his recent allegations about the player Tottenham signed from Standard Leige was never followed up by any official complaint by Man Utd.

So the reporter was out of order for asking a question unrelated to the topic at hand. But Fergie isn't out of order for snubbing the beeb for the after match interview, which is unrelated to the documentary about his son.

Actually no, he didn't have the right. Nobody has the right to break the rules whenever it suits them. Even unbearably arrogant people like Alex Ferguson should obey the rules, just like everyone else has to.

If he thought that Panorama had no proof he (or his son) should have taken appropriate legal action. I wonder why they didn't? No prizes for guessing.

as i understood it fergie never did interviews with the bbc cos of the panaroma programme i believe had no proof of what they accused his brother of so motd being a bbc programme he refused to talk to them! if the bbc apologised then i also understood he wud hav given them interviews but they never apologised to my knowledge so not sure y he now gives interviews! i mite be wrong on this and they mite be anuva reason he didnt talk to motd im not sure but thats the only thing i remember! i do recall he actually spoke to the bbc when they gave an award to sir bobby robson during an awards show!

The Man Utd board were clearly taking no chances and 2 days before the programme was broadcast they stated that they would have nothing to do with Jason Ferguson in the future.

As the Daily Telegraph reported it:

"Sir Alex Ferguson suffered his greatest personal humiliation in almost 18 years as Manchester United manager yesterday when, in a review of transfer policy, the club's plc board pledged never again to do business with his agent son, Jason."

but thats not proof is it? by the sound of it they just wanted to have nothing to do with him at the club cos what the programme has said about him so the club have distanced themselves from him cos its putting the club in a bad light! bad pr isnt good for any clubs image is it! has this son of his been arrested for this alleged wrongdoing? or have any authorities had him for this cos i honestly dont know but if the evidence is all there then im sure he has!
