Babeshow Banter - Aggravation No Recriminations!

Before anyone gets all bent out of shape,please hear me out.
I know that disagreements happen all over the forum and that's par for the course,but at times it goes a bit over the top and starts bastardizing a thread,spoiling things for those who just want to post comments positive/negative without getting involved in an argument/heated debate.
So I thought maybe by doing a separate thread for people to hammer out their disagreements with no recriminations might be the way to go.
This would be an adults only no holds bared thread,were feelings would more than likely be hurt,but it would however allow other less argumentative posters to continue posting with no fear of being caught up in someone else's aggro.
In theory I feel by keeping aggro isolated to one place/thread,can keep other threads running smoothly.
In order to assess forum opinion,I shall leave it up to members to decide whether this could be a good idea.
I will leave the poll open for three days,then see the results and proceed accordingly.

Things would be made worse by this, i know if somebody said something about me in here I didn't like, every post I saw of theirs after i'd go out of my way to make them look a cunt lol

Trouble is if a member thinks they're completely in the right about something (even if it's irrational to everyone else), he/she will feel no need or way to post on a specialized thread.

I think the mods do a good enough job moving such arguments to the Twilight Zone.

It's up to the mods to decide if/when an argument gets out of control or too personal, and then they act accordingly. Giving people a specific place where they can argue and post abusively seems to me like it will do the very opposite of what you aim, and will actually generate more bad feeling that will spread out across the forum, rather than containing it in one place.

Argument and disagreement is what having discussion is all about, and shouldn't be stifled, it's the personal attacks that need to be jumped on, and shouldn't be tolerated anywhere here.

It's been done before, anyone remember the flame box? Good idea in principle, bad idea in practice.

Will a Moderator please delete this thread,the voting landslide (15 to 1 - I'm not the one,by the way) have dicided the fate of this thread.
