yeah he tweeted before the match didnt he! obviously he didnt know 1 of the chelsea players wud do wot they did if he held on to the ball though! he should have given them the ball back and hazard should have just left him 2 hold on to it it cos im sure the ref wud hav added more time on at the end. where it says needed 4 time wasting it makes u think did sum1 at the club tell him 2 hold on 2 it when he cud, maybe his director dad

Why not ? Hazard assaulted the ball boy (yes ,the ball boy was in the wrong as well)The ref sent him off for violent conduct .Cantona had left the pitch after being sent off and was being verbally abused by a moron who ran down 20 steps to the front row and (imo ,and I am NOT a man utd fan ) got what he deserved .
The ball boy provoked Hazard and suffered the consequences also .
I'mjust putting it up for debate as to what punishment Hazard should get .It is a pretty unique incident and the Cantona kick is the closest incident I can think of .
Time clubs stopped instructing their ball boy's in "professional gamesmanship" 'cos it's not the 1st time ball boy incidents have ended in "controversy" this season .

i wonder if chelsea's opponents will ask for hazard pay if hazard is selected.

Cantona's kick is completely different situation to this, cantona kungfu kicked a guy in the crowd to intentionally knock the guy out, hazard was in a hurry to get the ball as chelsea were trailing, all hazard did was kick a football, the ballboy made a meal out of it, hazard had a red card, will get a 3 match ban, thats enough.

Hazard didn't "assault" the ball boy at all, people just jump on the media bandwagon, when it comes down to it all hazard did was kick a football from underneath the ball boy, he had no intention of hurting the lad. Both were in the wrong, Both involved have apologised to each other, it's done the ballboy's had his 5 minutes of fame and will be happy when he's on tv and in papers, Hazard should just be given his 3 match ban, and just move on, there's no need to drag stupid things like this on and on.

this is probably the most clearest pic where u can see the ball move from under him so u can see hazard clearly tries to get the ball and u can actually see when he does his kick the ball goes free

The close up clearly shows Hazards boot making contact with the ball boy after the ball as gone .
The player has reacted to willfull provacation just like Cantona in my opinion .
