How on earth can Bale be a poor man Ronaldo?, aside from the fact that they both have pace and can both can play on the wing. Bale is only 23 and is hardly the finished article it took years for Ronaldo for develop into the player he is today. Whether or not he becomes the finished article only time will tell. I suppose Rooney and Van Persie are a poor man's Messi are they then then lol

I'll explain, on Fifa I couldn't afford Ronaldo, so I bought Bale Rooney and Van Persie shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Messi, RVP is a poor mans Ibrahimovic and Rooney is a Poor mans RVP

Whats the point of comparing players. They each have their places at the table and bring different things to different teams. As iconic as Messi is he would not be the player he is without 10 other players around him.
Still; just to share in the spirit I'd like to point out that the poor mans Ibrahimovic has still managed to score more goals than your English teams main goal threat. No doubt of course every single one of RvP's goals this season have been lucky flukes

I've said for a while that I can see Martinez as a good shout for the England job some day, but he needs to move somewhere other than Wigan to get any chance.
No disrepect to Wigan, they are a decent club living within their means and doing the best they can with that, but there just isn't the money available to invest to take the team beyond a relegation battle every year. Without Martinez, I doubt they'd even be in the premiership still.

As for the Chelsea job (IF that should become a possibility, we all know what paper talk can be like), I'm not sure that would be the right move. I still see a big team rebuilding job there over the next few seasons, but will any manager be given the time to complete such a mission, seems unlikely.
Anyhow, rumour the other day was that Chelsea were targetting the Juventus manager Conte (who is allegedly now in the frame at Real Madrid as well).

Chelsea will probably target klopp as he is the next best thing to pep, wish we get klopp though if Wenger suprisingly decides to quit this summer

He doesn't want to leave Dortmund or Bundesliga.

Spot on my friend, suarez is a poor mans messi, which still is a great thing to be I think suarez gives you a lot more on the pitch, he can play more positions, he has more skills, a lot more mobile, and far less injury prone than Robin "long arms" Van Persie.

I would have thought Man City fans would have been disappointed not just with the loss to Southampton but also the reaction from Mancini. He looked dumbfounded and at a loss with what to do. Publicly saying his team let him down is not going to improve relations with the team. It's at times like this that good managers roll up their sleeves and pick their team up. It might be difficult to overhaul United (hoping so at any rate) but teams should keep on trying until the last kick of the last game.
I'll be surprised if Mancini is still at City next season.

Mancini can't blame anyone but himself. What is that donkey Gareth Barry doing on the pitch? He's toilet, has been for about 4 years.

It's hard to believe that Mancini won the Premiership against all expectations, but we've seen this growing trend of an expectation of instant success (as with Chelsea) which could make the manager's job at Man City a poisoned chalice. Sure, you'll always have people applying and leaving with a fat pay-off after a year or two but you won't get the continuity or stability needed to build a long term challenge.

If Man City win the Cup and finish a creditable second in the PL Mancini might get one last chance but should they lose against Leeds next weekend I don't think he'll make it to the end of February.

To be fair to the Man City owners, they have been very patient with Mancini by backing him in every transfer window, backing him despite poor performances in Europe and intense media pressure to get rid of Mancini. I think though, it would be the right decision by the end of the season for Man City to sack Mancini and appoint a manager that can take them to the next level and be a major force in European football.

As mentioned above Mancini has nobody, but himself to blame for Man City being largely poor this season (well most of the blame). He bought badly in the January transfer window with the signings of Garcia, Rodwell and Sinclair, but Natastic is looking like one of the signings of the season and should be in the running for young player of the year award. At the start of the season for a number of games, he kept tinkering with what formation to use and the players looked a little confused in how to play in a 3-5-2 formation. Hart has also been bit of liability this season and has cost Man City some points this season. Hart has been dodgy this season compared to how well he was playing last season. Perhaps Hart doesn't have enough quality competition for his place in the team and has become complacent because he knows or feels he won't get dropped from the team. He has gotten no flak so far from the media for his dodgy performances this season compared to De Gea at Man United for example, which is really unfair. The media are also a reason why Hart has become so complacent because some are labelling him the best goalkeeper in the world, which he isn't, but would make it into the top 10 in the world.

Anyway back to Mancini, I think he will be sacked in the summer even if he wins the FA Cup and it will be interesting to see, who Man City appoint. Will they go for someone like Mourinho, who could provide instant success and make them a major force in European football or go for a young and exciting manager like Villas Boas that has a long term project for the club.

Oh ya the title race is over even if Man United drop points against Everton today, I don't see Man City catching them.
