they both have their own strengths but like u say, u cant compare them to each other! i think alot of people probably have suarez and van persie as faves for footballer of the year, but i think bale might sneak it! if im being honest i also think bale will be the most sought after footballer this summer, just not sure who can afford him though if spurs decide to sell him and thats if he wants to go! hope for ur sake kalel he wants to stay at spurs, and i dont see any reason why he shouldnt want to stay!

I think if Spurs and they will get in the Champions League next season will keep Bale.

I hope he does stay but i wouldn't blame to want to move to a bigger team, how people think you can compare footballer players i shall never so now Spurs are one side you rightful said Ronaldo been doing it for Real Madrid, Messi for Barcelona and Van Persie been the big difference at Man Utd this season i suppose he'll be saying there all a one man team now lol.

Do us a favour and stop going on about Bale and whether or not he stays at Spurs and focus your own team its getting boring and taking away what was a great by both West Ham and Spurs and especially the tribute that was done for Bobby Moore.

I think he's having a laugh mate, just pulling your leg. Not taking away from the Bobby Moore tribute, come on lad.

Everybody knows how good Bale is. He's one of the best players in the world in his own right.

As for comparing him with Ronaldo... The comparison in the press is quite lazy journalism for me.

It's mainly because of the free kick, strong running power and physique but they're a long way from being the same player. The freekick is a modern technique (Knuckle Shot) that needs anyone that attempts it to place the ball the same way (Valve facing you) then take the 5 or 6 steps back, one to the left, open your legs for a solid base and more power, run up and strike through the ball with your instep, lifting your striking foot upwards through impact to create top spin. With practice (Thousands of freekicks in training no doubt for Bale) it should have a flat, dipping, wobbly type of flight that's almost impossible for the keeper to save.

Drogba looked the same when he started doing it. Bale, Luiz... They all look like they're playing a long pass when they hit it. It's not copying. It's necessary for the technique.

Well his not funny as am not laughing, instead of us talking about how good the game was its all about Bale its getting boring when his going on and on about it.

I know about the technique used to take free kicks like Ronaldo, Bale, Drogba ect I was just having a joke about Bale, the same as people joke about other players..... Looks like Barcelona are really missing Tito, last few games without him have really shown how important a good coach even to a team like Barca can be, hope he gets better soon.

Love it that barca are losing, hopefully next season Madrid win the league again and start a dominance and of course milan finish the job in the CL

Ppl complain of dirty Madrid tactics but look at barca players falling every time they have a opportunity, Arbeloa is a dirty player but just a lil touch on alba and he falls over rolling around, pathetic
