OAK: Ah yes, well it's a live show so it can sometimes be tricky to cut away in time, although we do our very best to ensure that nothing untoward goes out.

PT: That's not good enough. You will be fined £50,000 every time it happens. Goodbye.


Now personally, I don't believe this would happen (as Ofcom would obviously be treating the lesser offence more severely, which could easily be challenged in court). But it MUST be what BSX fear, or else why would they be so afraid of allowing the girls to actually USE the toys and fingers they have, just filmed from a teasing angle. And if the occasional slip makes it through then the defence of "it's live, accidents happen, besides you see more on the pre-recorded adult channels every night" really ought to be enough!

^ Ofcom don't deal with complaints about BSX and can't give them a fine, The dutch regulator is the one that deals with complaints and would be the one to dish out fines if they think any are necessary, what Ofcom have already done is complain about the BS un-encrypted channels to the Dutch regulator, the Dutch regulator told Ofcom to fuck off by the way (not exact words) .

Yes it looks like the are now using 90% Porn stars on BSX. The good news is that we get to see alot more, which is what we all wanted. The downside is, that you can see most of these girls, doing hardcore for free on the internet.

I think in a way, it was the only option they had open to them. But... I personally would not pay to watch the shows, as there is no real novelty to seeing porn stars do porn. To me, getting to see the regular babestation girls go further, was the attraction. I liked the daytime girls coming on and maybe doing topless, and the nightime girls doing the open leg stuff. It meant you got to see each category of girl go that little bit more than they usually do.

The killer for most was Babestations bad "labeling" of the shows (horsemeat anyone?), and trying to pass of the softer shows as being hardcore. Still I do think more people will prefer the new setup, as it seems there will be alot more pussy on show. Just not what I personally would pay for. I have the internet for real porn, the babestation girls are more like seeing whether you can get them to "3rd base" or not..... if you know what I mean...

For me the attraction is getting up close and personal live. By the time internet porn has been edited its just not the same. But I know what you mean and prefer a presenter who doesnt look as if she has been round the block and is bored off her tits.

Mr Mystery is quite right, it had slipped my mind that BSX is Dutch regulated so there is no bollox about it being classified as teleshopping, even though a driver behind it is selling premium rate calls. Possible the Dutch accept that on screen presenters are interacting with callers, possibly the regulator doesnt care.

What has never been explained is why BSX does not go full Euro strength. Is it credible that the presenters would throw up their hands in horror? Or demand higher pay? Possibly BSX have worked out they just need to be 10% stronger than the competition (if there was any) to get 90% of the market.

Your arithmetic does not seem to be exactly correct. I've just done a quick count and I make it that 9 of the last 14 girls to appear on BabestationX have also appeared on Babestation, although that includes Stevie who hasn't been on Babestation for a considerable time.
