that said, GA did do rather too many covers; especially when their best songs weren't covers

I just read it that people where saying they where awful singers particularly cole and providing 'exhibits', I could provide more of those 'exhibits' and I bet the negative 'exhibits' would run out before the possitive. Obviously in live singing ropey notes can get through now and then, especially when doing the dance routines at the same time.

Obviously they are no Rene Flemming or Ela fitzgerald but the girls can sing way above the average (they harmonise particularly well), I'd put them a step below spice girls and sugar babes. It's only recently people have realised how good the spice girls where at the time it was the thing to slag them off too, there again it was ABBA and the Bee Gee's at one time. Wouldn't suprise me if a few years down the line one of these lazy 'musicals' will come out with their music in it.

And of course the thread says 'Girls Aloud Split Up' not 'lets slag the band off and say how bad the voices are', which means possitive, defensive, as well as negative comments are valid.

Has for chrissy Hyndes great artist and wrote some wonderful music (not sure to include stand by you though), but her voice is a bit lazy and drone, an aquired taste that suits her songs, especially private lives.

Girls Aloud split up years ago, they just reformed for the 10yr anniversary tour. If they think there is the demand in the future they will reform and do another tour, so this so called splitting up is not final.
