No, I don't think so. They haven't so far. They've proved they can beat the good teams in the group with a win over Ukraine. England have struggled to get any wins against decent opposition in competitive matches for the last few years. Its no good them turning it on for friendlies against Brazil and then going missing for tournament matches.

The fact is that England's players are so limited and they just don't match up with the teams on the continent. The international game has moved on and I doubt England's style will win them any titles any time soon.

Yh Montenegro have proved themselves especially with 3 away wins but they are not invincible and at some stage they are gonna drop a point or 2. It's true what their coach said though about England arranging friendlies at the same time that World Cup play offs are happening, shouldn't be over confident like this and should just focus on what is set to them and that is quality for the World Cup not arrange friendlies

i just dont see why we started Carrick, Welbeck and Milner. Milner is fucking useless and has no pace. Carrick can pass but will never score, and Welbeck is all pace but not a strong finisher. We should've have started players who are on form (no matter what there clubs say) we should've played Sturridge and Lampard

Agree that Lampard should have come on. Instead it was that donkey Ashley Young who came on and he offered nothing. Welbeck, Hart and Lescott were all to blame for their goal. Carrick was overrun in the second half despite a good first half showing. We needed the experience of Lampard to steady things when it was going wrong. Lescott and Smalling can't even get in the club sides for Christ's sake. It's frustrating that there's all the hype saying we can win the world cup and then the complacency in booking friendlies for when the playoffs take place. And then again, yet again, they don't deliver. Sick to death about all the bullshit that gets banded about with England.

Next time only hart should be put in as the sole goalie of the squad, even San Marino was a deemed a too important fixture for hart to be left out, foster should just retire again and Forster after 5 years should play for Scotland or something

You're right, in all honesty what has Foster not done that Hart has? If anything Foster has been allround a better keeper this season

Carrick is not expected to score, he's a holding midfielder.
