Your as stupid it was the PFA the professional Footballs union not the FA. And the comedian himself Reginald D hunter is also black and he uses a lot of jokes about race in his act. Gordon taylor on talksport trying to distance himself

PFA should have know better, even i know what kind of a comedian he was, and you wouldn't employ someone like that for that kind of gig, it would be the exactly the same if you was employing someone like Roy Chubby Brown or Jim Davidson at family event you just wouldn't do it.

that's probably why they don't show it live then so im guessing they wont show what the comedian said, not seen much news today so don't quite know whats gone off apart from the word racism again, which is a shame

I read somewhere that it was shown live, I think on one of the Sky channels.

The comedian was Reginald D Hunter. He is a black comedian from the deep south USA, and this was his standard act. He routinely uses the n-word as a way of reclaiming it from racism. Whether that is valid or not, the PFA should have known better under the circumstances. Even his wikipedia entry details this part of his shows, doesn't need much research to realise there may be an issue there.

No i'm not stupid at all...

I know it was the PFA awards, my battery die before i could edit it. And if the PFA research who they are booking for their shows they should know what type of act he is... Just because he is black himself does not make his jokes acceptable for an occasion like this especially after what has gone on recently, was it acceptable to the PFA when suarez said "negro" ??.... there is your answer.

And it's also ridiculous that Bale wins the young player and the pfa player, completely over hyped he is. Yes he's a great player, but so is Benteke who is also younger and for his first season in the PL pretty much keeping villa up should have won the young player award. Like I said earlier, the award is just given to the player the media makes more popular, and because bale is from the uk the media completely go over the top and make it difficult for over seas players. Both Suarez and RVP had better seasons than Bale football wise. Fair enough Bale winning the Player of the year though, that doesn't bother me, but what does is the fact he won the young player award too. They might aswell not bother having 2 awards.

Your always going on about you don't like Bale thats with your right but the time you've made it clear that you don't like him equally there will be others that do and other footballers that some us don't and do like but you gotta other yourself as its coming across child like. Am Spurs supporter am proud of club and want success for my team but at the same time i love other footballers from many other different teams in past and present, Zola, Bergkamp, Gerrard, and many many others in the league and across other leagues across the world. To sit there and say that only players from u.k win is quite frankly silly and totally lack of knowledge about football as the players i have listed here as far as i know are not from the u.k.

I did not say only players from the uk win did I? You just mis understand what i mean, i did not once say i didn't like bale, i actually said he was a great footballer, all i'm saying is that he should not win both awards!, i would think the same of it if it was any player not just bale, my point is being proven tonight by benteke scoring a hat trick in a crucial game that is likely to keep villa in the league for a 26th season, which he has been all season. He in my eyes deserves the young player award more than bale, who has already taken the top award.

over hyped bale really maybe the age should be younger for the young player of the year, but at the min he was eligible and the players voted him for both. i think bale came second to rvp in terms of important goals and assists scored in the premier league to gain points, im sure the stats are out there somewhere, but i think what went against rvp was the timing of the voting but still 24 goals in 40 spurs matches this season and hes not really an out and out forward. i think ever since the day he turned maicon inside out, he has just got even better. wish he wasnt welsh though!

Im not saying he didn't deserve to win the Player of the year award, if that who other players voted for then he has won it fairly. If i was a player voting though for purely football reasons, i'd vote for suarez but i can see why some other players would not vote for him.

Like you say i think the age should be lowred like you said or something like that would be a good idea.

Don't you think that benteke should realistically deserve the young player award?

I'm shitting myself after Villa beat Sunderland tonight.
