not long now till the episode. think all will be revealed with clara but the doctor's real name wont be. also interesting to see how it will end and set up the next dr who episode which will be the 50th anniversary special in October/November

Have to eat my words and say that was the best Matt Smith episode...and a cliffhanger finale like old Dr Who. Still a bit confusing but an improvement

I knew about John Hurt story line in doctor who i read about it a few months ago its gonna be interesting what happens next.

thouroughly enjoyed the finale this evening. very nice how they got clara to interact and be in the same scenes with the previous doctors going all the way back to the very 1st doctor in 1963. river song was good in it and liked how it tied into river song's 1st appearance in dr who in the 2008 2 parter silence in the library & forest of the dead. then came the reval about clara, the fantastic cliffhanger and the announcement that the 50th Anniversary episode will be on Saturday 23rd November and already trying to work out what is going to happen

also ive got a dr who claim to fame. on 29th November 1986 I was on an episode of the bbc1 Saturday morning show Saturday Superstore giving my dad a makeover and on the show was the current dr who of the time colin baker here it is

Having only just finished watching my recording of the finale, I still haven't had the chance to process it all....

Looking forward to the 50th.

dr who 50th seems like it could be superman 3. evil dr v good dr.

more eps with cliffhangers or leaving us with a mystery that is revealed in the next which leads to another and so on until it all comes together or introduces the beginning of the story to the next ep like tonights ep did.

i think they will reveal the dr's name when the show finally comes to an end and the dr with his last breath says his name.

the mystery of clara made this series watchable.

john hurt would have made an excellent dr or master. i think would he be like pertwee, troughton or hartnall.

Impressed with tonight's final episode... and relieved that some real thrill is coming back to the show. Matt Smith finally gets an episode he can really get into. That really was a whirlwind of storylines and even River Song couldn't ruin it.

I'm already chomping at the bit for the 50th anniversary story. Bloody long time to wait - got to wait till November! Really pleased with tonights. Now please Moffatt - don't f#ck it up again!
