Rugby - Lions 2013 Tour

Warren Gatland has been named as the British and Ireland Lions coach to Australia in 2013.

No great surprise there! Decent coach, and if he can keep the Welsh players at a high level, with a few additions, we should have a decent chance

I wonder, who will be the captain of the British and Irish Lions team? Paul O' Connell perhaps

Sam Warburton I wouldve thought. Well known by Gatland, the 2nd best number 7 in the world and will be itching to prove himself after his sending off in the World Cup.
O'Connell has been out of action for a while now and hasn't captained Ireland for ages

I wonder how many Scots will be in this Lions squad?

Oops - forgot to mention that one of the test matches is being played at the massive Olympic Stadium which holds over 80,000.

Ritchie Grey should certainly be in the squad.. the giant lock is 6ft 10 ins but is extremely mobile around the pitch.

The Australians have used a great way to present their team with their national caps. Each player nominated someone special to them to do the honour.
Great touch
