You can never tell until a player gets the shirt on and gets going, of course, but this lad will perform in the premier league, bet your bottom dollar. He won't just perform, he'll shine for me.

Ask Phoenix or Admin or any Chelsea fan about the quality of Mkhitaryan, he played against Chelsea twice last season.

I'd never knock YouTube Mitchell, yeah it can be ridiculous at times but you can find some excellent compilations and stats vids of players on it. There's plenty scouting teams, coaches, managers having a look on there for glimpses of players they've been recommended. More so in the lower leagues, I've heard managers on radio confessing to using it.

The last player I went on YouTube to watch was a Brazilian kid called Coutinho. What I saw was the most unbelievably skillful little magician I've ever set eyes on. People said if he could do what he's doing in them vids he'll be dynamite and he has been. He's a world beater in my eyes and only cost us £8m. He'll set the league alight next season.

I understand your scepticism but I urge you to have a good look at Mkhitaryan on YouTube. Some players can play in any team, in any league in the world. The special players.

The thought of Gerrard, Coutinho, Mkhitaryan and Lucas as our midfield has got my juices flowing, must say mate.

He was pretty decent in the first match against us, very direct and dangerous, with a great shot on him. Good movement as well, I reckon he could play anywhere in the front 4 (assuming you'll play 4-2-3-1).
Although I saw him live at the Bridge in the 2nd game and don't remember him doing much (Fernandinho impressed me much, much, much more), but still I think it's good signing for you. He should score goals.

RE: Liverpool FC
Telegraph article.

Sevilla midfielder Luis Alberto will use the success of Spaniards in the
Premier League to motivate him as he prepares to join his compatriots in
England with a move to Liverpool.
The 20 year-old is expected to fly into Merseyside for a medical and discuss
personal terms later after the two clubs settled on a fee, believed to be in
the region of £6 million initially with potential add-ons.
Veered
A deal is not expected to be completed before the weekend but Alberto will
almost certainly be Brendan Rodgers' third signing - after Kolo Toure and
Iago Aspas - of the summer by next week.
"I'm very much looking forward to it," Alberto said. "I'm going to a
club like Liverpool,
a new culture, a new language, I have to adapt quickly but I'm really
looking forward to this big step.
"There are many Spaniards in England and they are doing quite well.
"Seeing all of them succeeding there motivates me even more."
Alberto, who came though the ranks at Sevilla, spent last season on loan at
Barcelona B - scoring 11 times in the second division - but the Catalans did
not take up their option to sign him permanently.
He admits, however, it will be a wrench to leave his hometown club.
"I've always said that this is the club where I grew up, it's my home," he
told Spanish newspaper Diario de Sevilla.
"I owe a lot to Sevilla, although I'm leaving a little hurt because I haven't
had the chance to show what I can do in the Primera Division.
"It seems like I was going to return to Sevilla, but the Liverpool thing came
up and it's a very important step.
"I've had to take a difficult and important decision and I hope I've got it
right."
Despite reported problems in Spain regarding the transfer of Aspas, who has
issues with various agents to resolve, Liverpool have no concerns the deal
will be confirmed at some point.
Their position with Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is more
complicated, however, and is set to run for several weeks.
The Reds are interested in the Armenia international but so are a number of
European rivals.
Mkhitaryan has a reported £20 million buy-out clause but with other clubs
circling that price could go higher.
And with the situation over the player's ownership - with suggestions there is
a third-party arrangement in place - there will be no quick fix with sources
at Anfield claiming any potential deal is "a very long way off".
Rodgers is looking to get his business done early, having not been able to
last summer after only replacing Kenny Dalglish in early June, and is still
pursuing deals for Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet and Sporting Lisbon
defender Tiago Ilori.
Andy Carroll's £15 million-plus move to West Ham has freed up some money for
the budget while also reducing the wage bill.
However, Press Association Sport understands there was nothing extraordinary
in the pay-off he received for leaving the club.
Reports have suggested the Reds had to give the England international
£1million in order to persuade him to complete a move to Upton Park, where
he spent last season on loan.
But most players who do not ask for a transfer - and Carroll was effectively
pushed out of the exit door by Rodgers - are entitled to loyalty bonuses
which are written into their contracts.
The club treated Carroll's departure similarly to those which proceeded it and
while any payment is regarded as confidential, the 24-year-old's was not
deemed exceptional in the circumstances.

I believe when I see & not untill.

Everyone performs in the Champions League, Celtic beat Barca. I'm not saying he isn't any good, I've just never see/noticed him & will only jump on the bandwagon when I've seen him play, possibly in the Premier League.

RE: Liverpool FC
I'm a supporter who's excited about the possibility of his club buying a top player.

Ever enthusiastic, yes sir. That's what I'm like. What's the point in being a miserable sod? Go watch 20 mins of this fella online, its impossible not to be enthusiastic!

Was stunned at your optimistic opening fixtures post the other day.... There's me thinking you're a new man for the new season! Rolleyes

You'll decide when you see him. Absolutely sound that, but Liverpool, Dortmund, PSG and Juve amongst others have already decided. That's enough for most people to think the kid must be a player. If you took 20 mins to have look you'd know why.

He's got most top clubs in Europe sniffing around him, teams that can offer champions league next season and it looks like we might win the race for his signature. I'm excited.

RE: Liverpool FC
I do not go to Anfield every game, but have notice last few seasons when I have been there is not much atmosphere after YNWA sometimes go very quiet and away fans are louder.

I know G&P go to most games so would like ask do you think it would be good idea to do like we do at Estadio Dragao with PA speaker system where Fernando Madureira who is like leader of Super Dragoes use It and keep all fans cheering and sing all game?

I think create better atmosphere and more enjoyable, and do you think it would be allowed here in uk? what do you think?

RE: Liverpool FC
That would never happen at Anfield Fernandez. That's a European way of whipping the crowd up, it generates an atmosphere but its not for Liverpool mate. Makes a cracking atmosphere at your place though! Wink

Wish we could keep banners and flags flying down front during the match, be boss that.

No seriously I saw it happen, look. It's not quite 20 mins but still.

Something needs to be done to generate an atmosphere around the Premier League grounds, they've been quiet for a while now. Personally regarding Liverpool, I remember watching the derby at Anfield last season & at one point thinking, if this was at Goodison the place would be rocking.
Don't even get me started on the plastic Champions League flags at Stamford Bridge & as for the Emirates well!!!

What do you guys think of Guardardo who play for Mexico and Valencia? he can play LB or LW, I think he would be good for competition for Enrique.
