What i would consider morally acceptable and the minimum he has to offer are very different. Lets go back over your question to me, rather than if I would accept the payment, what more would I expect? He is unemployed, if he goes bankrupt I get nothing, if he refuses to pay he possibly has no possessions of value I can repossess, His credit rating is screwed all the time its there (and afterwards) so he cant borrow the money, ..what option do they have?

as said by Rammy, if Vodafone or any other creditor attempted to take him to court or start further recovery proceedings against him, the fact he has "made a repayment offer" stands in his favor over a creditor demanding their money back. Especially if he has proven its unrealistic for him to just reach into his pocket and get £90k when unemployed

Well it's not the first time he's used the threat of ofcom

Seriously though, for most normally sane people, surely there's a point, probably after your first bill or statement from the bank, where you go i'm spending too much on this, time to jack it in.

The ironic thing about it is for alot less than 91 grand, he could of probably gone on adultwork and booked the babe he was calling, to fuck her for real. Also, he could of considered the option of a new gf.

But they can't take him to court or start further recovery proceedings against him because he's bankrupt.

hmm...This is clearly taken out of context without understanding my point about which was "what more can they expect". The secondary point was that he has made AN offer, a court would define this that he is taking responsibility to repay the debt and they would allow him to continue paying this until circumstances changed and he was able to make larger payments towards it

if as you say here he already IS bankrupt then what are these people going crazy about him offering £1 a month expecting? hes bankrupt meaning he effectively has no money or posessions to sell to pay, so he is offering a token payment, what are you expecting him to do?? Vodafone are lucky to be getting that under those circumstances

Another point i'd make as I didn't realise initially the phone bill was with vodaphone. Vodaphone have been a bit underhand here as well, as they could of blocked his phone when the bill was getting a few grand high. For all they knew the handset could of been stolen or hacked.

As well he has been a bit dumb, when he was presented with a huge bill he should of denied the calls and claimed the handset/sim had been stolen or hacked. The worst vodaphone could of done is refused to give him another sim or contract . It would of been pretty impossible to prove that he was lying about the phone been stolen/hacked especially if he reported it as stolen and obtained a crime/incident number. They may have pursued payments before he claimed it had been stolen but it would of knocked the bill down to a manageable level.

Why stop there! Start petitions 2 close betting shops, pubs etc 2 protect people like u who blame every1 else 4 ur problems

Vodafone did bar is sim card, so to get around the block he went and got another sim card and carried on running up the £££ .

why the fuck is people still baning on about that dickhead runing up a big phone bill
