I really hope not though he is another attacking midfielder who play for Hellas Verona in Serie B and £8million is too much for another player who not play at high level.. we need proven player now no more potential for big money.

Not really excited about him if i honest, i doubt he will be any better than coutinho or gerrard £25million can be spend better in other areas like a top CB or ST. And whatever I read about him about how great he will be for us I just think about how joe allen had the best passing stats in Europe and was the next Xavi nonsense, then to top it all we go and buy for £15 million and what has he done for us? He is no better than Charlie Adam or Spearing were and not as good as Suso or Henderson or anybody else we had. This Mkitaryian guy will probably turn out the same.

Also Fred has a release in contract for under £2 million, what have we got to loose by buying him, very good price, perfect for games when we need strength, great finisher and record and we need a bigger Striker aswell as Sturridge and Borini and Aspas.

And as for Suarez in my view he is not an option for us anymore, i have support and defend him but he basically is coward and throw all support back into fan face everytime he go to Uruguay. Why can he just not say I am liverpool player and I am here to speak about Uruguay?...

Instead he cause the club and fans more attention again and especially when we try to build squad for next season. He made his point so we should show him exit as soon as possible and take the money for him and buy a player or 2 who will replace him... For the money for Suarez we could get Jackson Martinez or Soldado and both Fred and maybe Villa...

You post all sorts of players from YouTube vids on here and your not excited about this lad? Go and have a look kid. Everything about him is impressive!

If he turns out to be anywhere near as good as Stevie £25m will be an absolute steal.

I've heard this before but i was just reading this article below and it basically says Fluminense are not willing to give up Fred easily and want a fair price like £7m!! lol.

There's no chance Rodgers would bring Fred to Liverpool, look at the players he's bought and sold.

He likes versatile forwards who can play all across the front line. Interchangeable, mobile, quick forwards.

Coutinho
Borini
Aspas
Luis Alberto

Fred's a box player, a poacher, a real number 9. Rodgers doesn't go for that type. He couldn't get big Andy Carroll out the door quick enough.
