Well the channels will charge whatever people are willing to pay. Obviously enough people call at the current prices for the channels to think them worth keeping.
Plus I believe BT takes half the cost, and then the channel (presumably) pays tax and wages out of it, so that £25 will end up being nearer £5 profit to the channel.

And in terms of work or friends there are a hundred reasons people may not have friends they can talk to. For example I work from home, often at night and I dislike people who are homophobic, judgemental without cause or who take pleasure in insulting others. My night work means it's difficult to socialise outside and my pickiness filters out about 98% of internet chat room residents. Now imagine if I was crippingly shy or had social anxiety. My point is the whole "but what about real life friends??" argument is very simplistic and doesn't take account of a heap of variables.

The girls also provide a "safe" call. That is, they're pretty much gaurenteed to be friendly because they're paid to (and in most cases because they're genuinely friendly people), and their fella isn't going to come over and start getting all jealous, and you don't have to pay for a drink in a pub or food in the canteen or whatever setting you're in.

And as for the boring.. one man's junk is another man's treasure. You might find it boring but the caller might find it one of the most fascinating conversations of their week.

I agree with while there are people still silly enough to carry on paying £2 a minute for a DAYSHOW call it's never going to change true... My personal opinion is it's a waste of £20 0r £30 sometimes more no doubt people are mad enough to keep calling back.

The DAYSHOW call price should not be the same price as the NIGHT TIME show it's wrong... You have to also remember these girls don't care about your problems or life harsh but true. Make no mistake as soon as the phone call ends and no one is waiting to come through you will be getting slaged off/talked about to the producer... But if you and other callers want to throw money away like that it is not my problem is just my opinion.

I wasn't having a go at Sarah either that was not the case... I am speaking for any DAYSHOW call that gives no value for money/pleasure like Sarah's recorded call showed... I just posted in Sarah's thread as a member posted his call with Sarah.

This is where I disagree. The fact that (with a few exceptions) you can't have these girls help you wank during the day doesn't make the call less value for money to the people calling. To you and many others it might seem less worthwhile, but to the callers it clearly isn't.

Gonna have to disagree there too. Some girls? Yup most probably. All? Nah. I would imagine the girls get a whole array of callers, some of whom they will sneer about and some of whom they will genuinely like. Obviously on screen they pretend to love everyone that's ever called and that every caller is their favourite because that's what salespeople do when they want your business. But just because they have a money incentive to do so doesn't mean they're lying.

Sarah has unfortunately had to cancel her last shift,so that's it on BS.

and sarah has gone back to s66/elitetv. she makes her s66 return on Thursday 1st august at 10am

no I didn't boomer. I posted sarah was going to be on s66 when I saw her on the s66 schedule 2 days before 1st august. obviously since then things have changed which does often happen on the babeshows and now it looks like sarah is returning to bs
