Friday - Lacey Lorenzo at 11pm (4 x 40 minute segments) - BSX Highlights starting at 8pm
Saturday - Brookie Little at 11pm (4 x 40 minute segments) - BSX Highlights starting at 8pm

Great news about bsx but i think you may be over estimating my influence on their decision,having said that it did seem ridiculus them sending me a text reminder to join their site to watch last night which as i have said before i am not prepared to do.

im not really a web person.am out this weekend but am definitely gonna have a go when ms solis returns and maybe have a few goes when its possible to buy the girls you like on a pay to view basis.jimmyt how would I pay to tune into the nights I liked.not done it before.on the old freeview I just tuned in almost every night off my telephone and bit my lip when the bill arrived.sometimes it was worth it.is it possible to buy this web stuff from my mobile? thanks.

All you used to have to do was go to website,text a given number to 69979 and they would send you 2 text messages,one to confirm your purchase and one free containing your pin for that nights viewing,i hope they are going to stick to this system as it seemed to work quite well,hope this helps you Cheers.

Back to the question of advertising the site on the tv channels.

Digital Dave has posted elsewhere that Ofcom have today fined Satellite Entertainment Ltd £40,000 for having links on-screen to 'pornographic websites'.
I won't say too much more as it concerns the channel that can't be named.

One interesting thing about the ruling is that is specifically mentions that the website being linked to contained a direct link to another site 'within the company', which contained explicit pornographic content without mandatory age controlled access (which Ofcom/ATVOD have deemed to be a credit card transaction). So they had an issue not just with the site being linked to, but with the sites that site linked to as well, 'guilt by association' as it were.


So, if you take a look at the bsx site, there isn't actually any 'pornographic' content until you take out a membership, so in theory, they should be OK.

But, if they were to do as suggested, and offer the pay-per-view type membership via mobile phone text messages, Ofcom/ATVOD may consider that insufficient as an age controlled access. Studio66 got a spanking for advertising explicit pics/vids available via mobile phone, it seems they don't consider the adult block available on mobiles as sufficient age verification.

Also, the bsx site may be safe, but it contains a link to the producers blog, which contains explicit material without controlled access. A recent post includes an embedded video clip of Yuffie Yulan sucking cock! The blog also contains other links to other sites, there's one for sexstation for example, which shows hard content without controlled access, so these links may well fall foul of Ofcom/ATVOD.


So, if they continue to advertise the site on Ofcom licensed channels, they may fall foul of Ofcom, who seem particularly strict when it comes to this kind of thing.


And for those wondering why we discuss it and bring it to attention, it's quite simple, if they are breaking rules, and do get investigated, it brings more attention on all the channels, and the more the channels get investigated, the tighter the restrictions become, which is something none of us wants!

Hmm. yes I can see there's a problem if BS are not allowed to advertise their shows and schedules on any other (non-restricted) channels or sites. This means they can presumably only advertise on the website itself to people who've already signed up for it, which is going to make it well nigh impossible for pay-per-view customers to know what's going to be on? Bit of a Catch 22 situation?

No, they can openly advertise the schedule on the website, same as the likes of shebang do. They can also advertise it elsewhere, such as on banners on this site, or in this thread, no problem there, the only potential issue is advertising the website on the tv channels (or at least the ofcom licensed ones).
