I've always thought how incredibly boring their job must be. How many times can you say "oh baby..." and other inane things. How many of the punters are drunk and saying equally inane things. As Eccles pointed out there only so many okey dokey positions. As a result, I find the ones who bring a degree of energy with each appearance real troopers.

Just sayin'...

A lot of babes are perfectly happy to just go through the motions, but some do take a certain pride in trying their best each time. Trouble is if a babe even attempts anything remotely different from the norm, there's panic from the production team. A camera will suddenly zoom away from the 'offence', or a logo/blank screen appearance or cut to another channel. Plus no doubt a reprimand to the babe.

The climate of regulator fear has sadly bled away any spontaneity. Very sad, but I guess you can't blame them as they are the ones facing the Ofcom penalties & not the callers or viewers. Just have to make the best of the channels nowadays.
