how do i re-tune my digibox

i know how to reinstall it: go to service and choose number 4 system setup, the choose number one picture settings and type 01 and press select, you should then see another menu and press number six new installation. if that doesn't help then let me know.

You shouldn't have to retune your Sky box unless it has been switched off for a long time.Sky boxes automatically update themselves.If you have had it switched on for a while and the new channels aren't appearing then you have probably missed an operating system version or EPG software version update.I am assuming you are reconnecting an old Sky box to get all the free channels because if you are an existing customer you shouldn't have this problem,unless the dish has moved but the channels would still show on the EPG only you wouldn't get a picture.I bought a freesat card from Sky,around £20 one off charge,for my old Sky box and these updates were missing as it had been switched off for 4 years! I phoned Sky and they sent the new software to my box in about 10 minutes and now when left on it auto updates.If you post your operating system version and EPG software version numbers here someone with Sky can confirm if they are the up to date ones.I have Sky+ and I think they are different so won't be of much help.
