think everyone should watch the mens ice hockey tournament today as you will see probably the top 3 ice hockey players in the world. Sidney Crosby (Canada) Alexander Ovechkin (Russia) and Evgeni Malkin (Russia)

for those who dont know i forgot to mention the sport, short track speed skating

im a massive fan of steve cram as an athlete and as a a commentator but i just find it strange people like him and jonathan edwards are out there in russia! im not saying summer olympic athletes cant commentate and present at the winter olympics but i just cant imagine eddie the eagle or robin cousins commentating on a 100 metre sprint final! maybe weve not got enough former winter athletes who are well known im sure there must be a simple reason why crammy is commentating on curling

rammy dont laugh at me but i have never been in to ice hockey and im not being funny here but i actually have trouble seeing the puck seriously! i tried to watch games before and im like where the fuck is the puck? it goes that quick the only way i know a goal is scored is when every1 cheers!

They do have Amy Williams who I presume is doing the commentary for the skeleton bob.

Elise Christie is through to the final of the 500m short track speed skating and Lizzie Yarnold is in Gold Medal position after the 1st day of the skelton bob with a lead of around half a second

lets be honest, the likely chance of gratuitous violence is the only reason to watch it!

there is a saying often said about ice hockey "you go to a fight and then an ice hockey game breaks out"

ive been into ice hockey for 18 years now and whilst yes it can be very violent, there is also lots of skill to admire too
