So whats the excuse for the blatent penalty he didnt give us at chelsea when he was stood right there and even pointed at eto'o? If his excuse is he was in the wrong position again then even more reason to back up him being a shit referee...

That to go along with his world cup final performance and the 1 where he fucked poland over.

He was in a perfect position to see that, all of the ex referee's and pundits who are respected in the game are saying he bottled it, it's not the first time he's done it to liverpool either, the last 11 games webb has been the ref in we havent won 1, out of all the premier league referee's it's him that makes the most mistakes and silly decisions, he likes to be star of the show and thinks he is bigger than all of the players, he seems to forget he is a referee not an entertainer. An example of this is when jenkinson pulled sterling down, then the ball came of jenkinson for a corner and webb gave a free kick to Arsenal, sterling was arguing and touched webb and webb made a big scene of it "how dare u touch me, im howard webb" yet he calls over gerrard and starts poking his finger into gerrards chest...

Yes suarez has dived previously but this season he has not put a foot wrong, if the fa wants players to stop diving then they need to atleast award clear penalties like this was. Webb was supposed to be refereeing the game played yesterday, not previous games from last season in his head...

I'd seriously investigate him for match fixing, happens far to many times with him and not just with liverpool...
Look at his stats for awarding penalties to man united, it makes interesting reading...

from webbs angle it looked like a coming together, he wouldn't have been able to see ox's leg come across suarez. the fact that suarez went down like he'd been rounhoused by chuck norris didn't help anyone. sterling pushed webb full on in the chest and is very lucky not to be sent off, as was gerrard. so in this instance i would say he's wasn't biased against liverpool, he was just incompetent.

Chuck Norris has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). the virus is now in quarantine for 14 days.

i know that was the fa cup yesterday ok but if webb refereed every game of urs lets say in the premier league for 38 games wud u ever win 1? im confused at what ur saying hereHuh surely liverpool have enough talent to win games even if webbs in charge or not and im sure webb gets alot of the big games doesnt he? like the 1 yesterday where arsenal played ok scored a few goals might have had a penalty themselves, might have played end of the game against 10 men! these 11 games u talk about maybe it was some of the good teams in the country u played or havent u thought of that! as for man utd and penalties i said to u yesterday the ashley young and spurs goalkeeper and webb never gave that did heRolleyes and do u remember last season liverpool v man utd when liverpool got the best of the decisions, was it johnson rugby tackle on sum1 and he was on a yellow card already, webb in charge wasnt he not?

RE: Football Banter
surely going out of the FA cup is a good thing for liverpool fans as they have no distractions now and can win the league, so no need for you to cry and whine about howard webb, fernandez

Lol Pellegrini claiming that City are bigger than United now. That will come back to haunt him. United have been consistently at the top since the EPL formed. They are followed enthusiastically around the world by millions and have the best sponsorship deals going. Granted City have 1 premiership, are certainly a top contender and undoubtedly playing better football than United this season but let's wait a few seasons before that claim is made. I expect United to be back challenging next season after their summer rebuild. This was always going to be an unsettling season.

You're guilty of a mis-quote. What Pellegrini actually said is that Man City are bigger than Man Utd "if we only consider this season".

Maybe not incompetent, but a bottler.

The stats that prove Howard Webb bottles big decisions

OK terence I accept your argument. Smile

I think Webb was wary of giving 2 penalties to Liverpool within 5 minutes and therefore bottled it.
