it's an interesting article and seems to make sense. i never thought he was overtly biased towards any team in particular, he just seems reluctant to make a mistake. he was billed as the next top ref and i think the pressure got to him a bit.

I guess you disagree with Stan Collymore who called Suarez a cheat when he won a penalty in a game against Aston Villa recently then.Most of the pundits are basing their criticism on the view of incident from behind the goal, a view Howard Webb doesn't have!

He was in a perfect position to see that, all of the ex referee's and pundits who are respected in the game are saying he bottled it, it's not the first time he's done it to liverpool either, the last 11 games webb has been the ref in we havent won 1, out of all the premier league referee's it's him that makes the most mistakes and silly decisions, he likes to be star of the show and thinks he is bigger than all of the players, he seems to forget he is a referee not an entertainer. An example of this is when jenkinson pulled sterling down, then the ball came of jenkinson for a corner and webb gave a free kick to Arsenal, sterling was arguing and touched webb and webb made a big scene of it "how dare u touch me, im howard webb" yet he calls over gerrard and starts poking his finger into gerrards chest...

Yes suarez has dived previously but this season he has not put a foot wrong, if the fa wants players to stop diving then they need to atleast award clear penalties like this was. Webb was supposed to be refereeing the game played yesterday, not previous games from last season in his head...

I'd seriously investigate him for match fixing, happens far to many times with him and not just with liverpool...
Look at his stats for awarding penalties to man united, it makes interesting reading...

I wasn't crying about going out of the FA cup, to be honest I'm not bothered about going out of the cup, it was the way which we go out down to another coward webb fuck up, if he is supposed to be your top referee then I don't want to see the worst, he also has already messed with our chances of "winning the league" although I dont think we would have anyway, as he bottled giving us a clear penalty when we played chelsea away, joey
