So what we are saying here is that every Boeing airliner these days is actually DESIGNED to be operated remotely. Important

I'm really sceptical about all these sightings. I'm afraid the ocean is full of junk. It's frankly amazing how many resources have been deployed on the basis of very little evidence.

I believe it's merely prudent to examine every possibility, however unlikely (if only to discount such things).

I think they are more or less searching the right area. Even if these sightings of debris are proven to be false alarms, I still think the southern Indian Ocean is where the plane is. If they want to find it they need to keep on looking where they are now.

Exactly, don't forget about snakes! we all know what happens when you put snakes on a plane!

Chuck Norris has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). the virus is now in quarantine for 14 days.

There's been another sighting of debris today and it's the most promising one so far, as it's a visual sighting from a plane in the existing search area and ships that can retrieve the objects from the water are not far away.

This has been raised in the press conferences and no answer has yet been forthcoming as to whether the cargo was scanned or not, which is strange as it wouldn't be difficult to find that out. They also still decline to release the cargo manifest, although they did confirm again today that mangos and lithium batteries were on the flight and also mentioned radios as being part of the cargo.

I can't see any reason for Malaysia Airlines keeping the exact cargo aboard flight MH370 a secret. Why haven't they declared the cargo manifest, as not doing so makes it look as though there's something to hide and only encourages speculation?

That's a valid point because if terrorism was the reason for the plane's disappearance I'd say it's far more likely to be Uighur terrorists from China than the usual suspects, Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

This could be a big breakthrough, but if the plane went down in that area it had to have flown by the US military base of Diego Garcia, which apparently saw nothing. A strange case of the dog that didn't bark?
