cdm79 Wrote:Big Boobies Wrote:RE; the comment by Shandyman. Do the girls still get the oil out on "normal" babestation then because I thought that from all the recent comments about the show that this stopped happening some time ago.
Amanda had the oil out last night on Babestation 2. However I remember Dionne reading out a text request on the show a couple of weeks ago asking about oil/cream, and she said they weren't allowed to do that anymore because of new rules/regulations??! Seems like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing!
i thought that comment from amanda was on freeview was it not? well i heard her say that on there and i know camilla's said it on there too.

matt38 Wrote:I would just like to add something else to this. Can sky viewers tell us if and when the show there started to get a bit tamer. I only ask because it seems that freeview is getting all the blame for the shows watered down content.
On three occasions recently I’ve logged in to TVAlways immediately after the Freeview shutdown, having watched the previous 5 hours (or most of it) on Ch 33. The girls concerned were Paige (see rant above!), Amanda and Jemma Jey. In every case the raunch level for the final half hour went up to such an extent that you would have thought you were watching a different channel.
Matsui Wrote:The thing is as fair I know there is only ONE set of rules which covers all of broadcasting in the UK, be it on Terrestrial, cable or satellite, there is no special rule that says satellite TV can be more raunchy than terrestrial after 9pm.
shandyman Wrote:as for why its filtered down, the rules must be different for freeview is all i can say, with sky, they've been there for ages, they've had all the big hassle they're gonna get, now they have to cope with all that hassle again on freeview as its a much bigger amount of people that can see it, dunno the figures but sky viewers prob only total a small percent of the uk compared to the people that can easily get freeview (no nitpicking on the easily comment please lol, i know it has tech problems).
Matsui is right. The rules exist to determine what is acceptable imagery to be shown on tv. This has to be a finite value. There is no way that a picture can be acceptable when transmitted from a satellite but not when transmitted from a tv mast. How can there be?
The only variation is between free-to-air channels and subscription channels - the latter obviously having more freedom.
Big Boobies Wrote:Hey have you seen geri atb the moment! I just had a quick look at the live feed at 9.56 an Geri was topless with only her hands to cover them! Before 10.00pm and Geri; is that amazing or what/ Perhaps we're in for a better show than usual.
She wasn’t using her hands to cover anything on my screen. This was normal for Geri when she was on Party Girls. It will be very interesting to see if she is still as daring when she comes back now that Freeview has started.
Edit: Hey, it worked!!! I rather hoped that if I hinted that I thought she wouldn't deliver she'd get 'em out just to spite me.
Brilliant - thanks Geri!!!
Edit 2: Right, let's test the system again: Tiff's just suggested a boob-fight between Lynsey and Morgan. What odds that if it happens it'll be after Freeview goes off air?

RE: Babestation on Freeview channel 33
well if the rules aren't different, then i think its down to ofcom's enforcement of it, cos freeview's new, they could be chosing to be more attentive, like i said, there's a new, much bigger amount of people that can now easily get access to freeview and these channels are right in the middle, whereas sky accounts only for a smaller percentage that can access it and these channels are way off at the end. Plus when something new starts, all eyes are on it at first, then people get used to it and attention wanes, the channels can raunch it up a bit more. makes more business sense to play it safe and not risked getting fined than going in at a higher level and get fined or even taken off air, like they would if they came in the PG levels.
